So glad you have got her back. Please keep her at home when in season. It's not fair on the males who may follow her scent and get lost themselves. It's only for a couple of weeks and there are all sorts of ways you can keep her exercised at home.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Glad Holly is home, lets just hope there are no little ones as a result of her freedom, perhaps a trip to the vet would be a good idea or at least a secure harness for future seasonsLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Fantastic, over the moon for Holly and her family. Owners are on the way now to pick her up. A big thank you to the finder and to Destitute Animal Shelter for contacting her owners. CHIP power, had a feeling they would get her back soon especially after the Easter break when authories went back to work. Welcome home Holly just in time to enjoy the rest of Easter, give her an extra hug and cuddle from all on DL. Great to see her going into the BLUE. Jan x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks flatcoat20, for the information, I've tried the number and the station is only manned at certain times. Passed info onto owner, who will follow this up and leave a message on the Police station answermachine. Owner and family have been out searching and postering the area, they are going to the Little Lever area tomorrow to put posters up. If Holly is not found over the weekend hopefully owner will get some good news when places are open on Tuesday. Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Possibly a long shot but ive checked our queues for dogs in this area and a dog was handed into astley bridge police station today at 1250. The dog was found wandering in a busy road, no descriptions or breed of dog im afraid, but if owner rings astley bridge and asks if theyve had any dogs come in today they will be able to tell her tel: 0161 856 5729 Fingers crossedLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spoken to owner. Holly has gone missing from playing fields off Brodick Drive, not far from home. Family have been out searching, posters are being displayed. Police have been informed, trying to contact vets but most are shut until Tuesday. Have asked owner or family member if they could register and update us. Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
