Hi Nina, thank you we made contact with k9 in June and have spoken to the lovely Jenny on 14/7.
DogLostNina
Owners do hope you manage to make contact with Jenny at k9tracker
FindFi
Thank you for your reply Jenny 👍

I have not received any requests for help for Fifi - if the owner can do this I can respond and possibly help.
I had an email from a lady but it wasn't the owner.

I cannot see a link to Fifi's Facebook page on here - so here it is - https://www.facebook.com/groups/150435559155974/?fref=nf

I have noticed that this poster does not say - DO NOT SHOUT, CHASE OR TRY TO CATCH HER - can this be added to stop people who only see posters, from doing this. It seems from her page that this is happening.
DogLostNina
Hollieberry….this is one of the problems in trying to find Fifi that the local feed back is in short supply to doglost. The area that Fifi is covering is vast along this coastal area. I understand that the owners are not local to the area.
Hollieberry
Poor girl I hope owner is getting help from lots of local people fingers crossed for Fifi
niknak
Oh gosh, poor fifi out in this heat..... I really hope she Can be caught and returned home real soon, shes gonna need a long rest bless her 😓
DogLostNina
Owners.....it might be worth contacting local radio stations to see if they will alerts local residents. Try the local papers as well. It might be worth asking Chichester Bus Station to display a poster Put posters up in local pubs.Last edited: 2018-07-05 21:58:56 by Nina

Sighting of Fifi in Hunston today. She seems to be moving between Pagham and Selsey. Fingers crossed for more sightings x

Hi Nina we tried contacting k9 tracker a couple of weeks ago but have not had a reply unfortunately, we have also contacted people with drones.
DogLostNina
Do you think it would be worth looing into finding a drone owner to help
DogLostNina
Try K9tracher.co.uk and see if they will help
FindFi
Hi yes that was done straight away. Thank you. It’s a shame these chips don’t have trackers on them too
DogLostNina
Owner just had a thought have you told the micro chip company that Fifi is missing so that it is put on record
FindFi
Thank you Nina much appreciated 😊
DogLostNina
I contacted Selsey Council and Bunn Leisure who were very helpful and said they would try and get the word out locally
FindFi
SIGHTED 7.30 this morning drift road, Selsey. Lots of posters in the area and info sent to schools, taxi drivers, postmen etc 🤞
DogLostNina
Glad we are getting sightings. We need so much help form the people of Selsey. Fifis owners I know you live miles away from where she is lost but try and get family members to get as many posters up as poddible. Local schools would be such a good way of getting the word out.Last edited: 2018-06-20 14:32:57 by Nina

niknak
Is there any news on fifi please?
Pet owner
I walk my dog every day near Chuch Farm and look out for Fifi every day, I did see her on the day she went missing in Church Lane, and feel bad I was unable to catch her!I do hope she is found soon!
niknak
Ok fab.... Thats where i was looking. Went all round the cow fields at the harbour, then took the overgrown footpath behind the horses stables all the way thru to pagham rd, then walked the streets back. Looked around harbour and lagoon this morn whilst out with my dogs.... Is really making me sad that shes still out there somewhere....
DogLostRavenette - Area Co-ordinator - West Sussex
It was in the field opposite Thomas Abeckett's which leads into the horses field on the little lane up to the harbour. Thank you so much for your help niknak it really is appreciated x
niknak
Hi
I went out for a couple of hours yesterday to look. I want to go look again, but am unsure exactly where the last sighting was. Was it near thomas abeckett church (nr church Farm) or further up by st ninians church on the pagham road? Thanks
DogLostNina
Try giving posters to local schools and colleges and offer a reward towards school funds. Put posters into post boxes for postmen to take back to the sorting office so that other post men are aware. Contact lacal taxi firms and ask them to keep a look out. Collect the 'pee' of owner or close relative and ry leaving a 'pee' trail in various directions back to where lost, if it rains you will have to repeat.Last edited: 2018-06-06 20:27:48 by Nina

Thank you everyone for all your shares, unfortunately we have no news at the moment and no sightings. Fifi went missing whilst on holiday so does not know the area that she is in so it’s very hard to determine what possible direction she could have gone in! Again thank you for your support, the search continues!!

I have spoken to the head warden at the RSPB in Sidlesham and they have very kindly offered to put a poster up in the visitor centre and given permission for posters to be put up on their land. I have registered Fifi with the Chichester dog warden and spoken with 2 riding/livery stables in the area. Fifi's owner has contacted everyone else. We just need those all important sightings now x

Advice sent. I hope that Fifi is safely found very soon. She is lost in a large area, with a fair bit of cover this time of year. Will call owner shortly x
