OMG - What an ordeal...
We are now home safe snuggled on the sofa!
I cannot thank everyone enough for all your efforts.. every share, like & comment helped to keep it fresh in everyone’s mind.
Everyone who drove around the lanes travelled from other villages to walk in Wickham Market to look for Ava. A big thank you also to those who called or text’d me when there was a sighting to either report it or ensure I was aware of it - thank you!! And Melita who put up the posters for us.
It’s all helped to bring Ava home xx
We finally reunited in Pettistree near The 3 Tuns. A lovely lady was washing her car when Ava ran past. She knew from fb she was very timid so didn’t try to catch her but kept her close until we got there. From all the sightings we had based ourselves just around the corner at the primary school and the playing fields so got there in minutes. Ava’s big sister Ruby came along and was thankfully the perfect ice breaker and after having some food jumped straight into the car crate.
It was the plan but we didn’t know if it would work or if little Ava would be too stressed and freaked!! But with total relief it worked and we are now all home safe. From the bottom of our hearts THANK YOU !!!!- 2018-05-13 16:50 Sharon - Social Media Volunteer
