- Fantastic news.

- We were worried when we didn't see the signs up in Wimbledon or your family out looking for her, so did a google search to see if there was any news. Can't tell you how wonderful it is to know that Bindi is home with her family and on the road to recovery! As fellow dog owners, this makes our hearts sing. :D

- So glad to read Bindi is home x

- Thank you for all your lovely messages. Bindi was found very near where I normally park my car (round the corner from where she was hit) on Wednesday evening (on the golf course near between Wimbledon Golf Club and Sunset Road). My husband was out on our evening search and spotted her sitting on the golf course. He sat on the ground and she came over, gave him and our other dog a good smell and recognised them - she has had a check-up with the vet and apart from some open wounds on her leg she seems in pretty good shape. She is sleeping lots and enjoying her bed and some good food! Thank you again for all the positive comments and brilliant suggestions. xxx

- As dogs can cover great distance when on fly mode even when injured we should also alert surrounding roads, local schools etc as it cannot be excluded that she has covered a few miles when her adrenaline and cortisol level were high. The barking hour radio program would certainly be happy to make an appeal during their live show. It would be advisable to contact local newspapers and evening standard to get their support too while continuing searching on ground and alerting surrounding areas. Praying this girl is soon found

- I am so sorry to see Bindi is still missing. Last year I was in contact with a lady who has a tracker dog to help find my boss’s missing dog.
She said to park a car that your dog is used to travelling in at the place she went missing over night with someone in the car, have the boot or door open with a blanket or similar with your scent on and (sorry this bit is basic) but have a bottle of your urine and leave a trail from your car in the direction Bindi headed towards.
I was told that a dog will try to get back home or to the area they were with you. If your house is near where Bindi was hit by the car, lay the trail from your front door.
The best time to do this is at night due to less people and dogs walking in the area to make your scent less strong.
I really hope you are reunited with Bindi very soon. - 2018-05-11 10:07 Sarah - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambs Twitter Co-ordinator

- Henrietta Bindi might return to the place she went missing. Is anyone able to go there probably very early morning or late evening? Take one of those disposable barbecues cook some sausages (if permitted) Take some of her bedding.
Are her chip details up to date? If found and needing hospital treatment apart from the local out of hours vet Stone Lion the next most likely place is RSPCA Hospital in Putney. I do hope you find her soon. - 2018-05-10 22:32 Henrietta

- Please dont give up lookong for Bindi. Our dog ran away, had reports he was hit by a train, but we got him back after he had spent 3 days on the tain tracks. We put posters up all around the area and also put leaflets through peoples doors. And thats what got him back. We also left his blanket out near to the last sighting so he had a scent to pick up on. And if u walk the area your dog may well pick up ur scent. Also, worth walking around before the area gets busy. So first thing in the morning if u can before the traffic builds up. Praying for Bindi’s safe return. Xxxx

- Henrietta, please register her on www.k9tracker.co.uk. Jenny has dogs that can track other dogs. Always busy, but worth an ask x

Still no sign of Bindi but the word is spreading and everyone is keeping an eye out for her.
OliviaR - thank you for your message - Bindi was last seen running away from Parkside, she was hit by the car on West Place and an around the corner of Northview - Possibly towards the end of Sunset Road where I normally park - hope that makes sense?
Lexy - thank you for letting The Study parents know - that's brilliant.

- Henrietta- I think I might have spoken to you yesterday afternoon on the common whilst you were looking (I was the person with the golden retriever)?
I was just wondering- when you said that she ran in the direction of parkside, how far did you see her run in that direction? Ie: did she look like she might have reached parkside (and therefore should we be looking in the roads there)? Or did she disappear from view before then? There are lots of bushes and trees on that stretch from the fox and grapes towards parkside that my dog can spend hours in so can take him there today and have a look if Bindi might have hidden herself there. - 2018-05-10 09:32 Michelle64
