So very pleased that lovely Jed is back home safe and sound and that he is none the worse for his 'mini adventure'. Tara9, you did a brilliant job in spotting the small ad that led directly to Jed's safe return - give youself a BIG pat on the back. Also pleased to hear that this handsome boy is now chipped, has a new collar, complete with nice, shiney ID tags. We shared our lives with a girl black Lab for over 15 years and so I know what special dogs they are. Welcome home lovely Jed and make the most of all the extra fuss and TLC!!!

Just to update you all Jed has settled down well although was very tired and had a cough. Took him to the vet to get a check up and he was in 'good nick' for his age although he has picked up kennel cough and is milking it for all his worth!!! He is now chipped, has a new collar and id tags and is under strict instructions not to got out without his lead and a responsible adult at the other end! You are welcome Carol. The advert included dogs for sale.... With the bit about Jed tagged on at the end. Was it a rescue kennels? Or animal foster home? At least they advertised him and were sensible enough to not mention what his distinctive markings were, leaving that for the owner to tell them. Glad he is home safe : )

Hi everyone Jed is now home and has had a bath as he was extremely smelly! He is tried but seems happy. He is also a lot thinner, which isn't a bad thing in his case! He was picked up at the park across the road about 10 days ago and taken to the guy in Moseley, about a mile away, and has been playing with other dogs, hense the smell. Any way I am a very happy owner and would like to thank everyone for their support and help, especially Tara for being so observant and Jayne for keeping me in the loop even when I haven't been on line.
