- Yes Indoor cats tend to hide close by their own home.. A door she has access to , open wide, and stand aside (Don`t block her entrance) Put some tuna or warm chicken in her dish, and place it, about twice the width of the open door. Place her UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too (Owner). Presume all outbuildings checked thoroughly in case shut in? Put some warm chicken in her dish, and call her; night/early morning is best. Poster around the area, and also post flyers through doors too. ask around, especially those with children as they can be very observant. Consider borrowing a cat trap form a rescue centre, or Cat Protection (A small donation I think) And put inside an object with her scent on, and maybe place it in the garden (I wouldn`t put any food in at this stage, because of other cats, but wipe her scent on all your garden fences, gates, doors too; anything leading up to the garden. Poster around the area, and also post flyers through doors too. Ask around, especially those with children as they can be very observant, Hope Poppy is home soon. Paws xd.Last edited: 2018-04-21 18:52:25
