Dear little Bruno is still missing. I have amended his details which were altered last year by the hack on our website. Pam x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Please let me know if you still want Danson Park postered, i take my dogs out at Hall Place & Footscray Meadows, neither of which are far from Danson so i can easily do it if need be. Hope the Maidstone sighting turns out to be him JannLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Where was the sighting.... i dont want to get anyones hopes up but i seen a dog alot like this a couple of weeks ago on a makeshift lead with a couple of kids up by Mangravet area in maidstone. The dodgy lead was the only thing that made me really notice and then i saw the same dog a couple of days later tied up on a bit of rope outside morrisons on the sutton road. I hadnt had the alert about this guy as my email account is invalid and i have only just registered my new one so i havent REALLY paid attention to it ( sorry dont even notice if male or female ) but when i saw this it made that spring to mind. I have seen it since on a proper lead and with a little coat on and as i have said cant say for definate that its the same dog but looks ALOT like it. I cant tell from the pictures the height of this little guy, this one is on the bigger side of a Jack Russell maybe more corgi sized. Have printed some posters but wont be back in maidstone till tomorrow sometime so dont know if anyone can do it before hand Hope it is Bruno and will keep checking here. Have had to create a new account so i can get alerts again Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi, this is definitely worth following up, is there anyone who is in the area who can put up some posters please? I work in London Mon - Fri so I'm unable to do anything at the mo but it would be great if we could raise the little fella's profile in the area. Fingers crossed x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I was going to Plumstead SE18 today and I had to go passed Danson Park, Welling. As I was approaching a lady and a llittle girl were taking a dog for a walk which looked exactly like little Bruno. Tan and white. He was not very good on the lead as he kept pulling the little girl. Danson Park is a large dog walking park. Is there anyone in that area who could poster around the park and the immediate area. It could be that he was picked up by a psssing motorist and taken to their house and that could be anywhere. If there is no one who can poster I will be going to Plumstead again in the next week and I will put posters around the Park.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Unfortunatley this was not little Bruno. Bruno does have some staffie in him as well as terrier (I think his mum is 1/4 staffie or so!) so I can see why Bailies nan's friend might have thought he was staffie. We are still looking for this little boy but just drawing blanks. I can only think that he is well out of the area. I can't imagine if he's local that someone doesn't know something - there are so many posters up. We just have to believe that he is safe somewhere and being looked after by a loving family. We won't give up on you Bruno! x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi, I have just been looking on another website, dogs lost and found, www.dogpages.org.uk - under KAY 2206 there is a staffy found in the Dover area. He is an entire male, very friendly, sociable with other dogs and looked in good condition. He was found in the Elms Vale area in fields. Wearing no ID, he is brindle coloured with white flash on chest. The dog warden's number for Dover is 01304-872289. I know little Bruno is a Terrier cross but when one of my friends saw the poster she thought he was a staff. I know that this is a long shot but please try to get in touch with the warden if you think this might be him. Fingers crossed.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi, My German Pointer Bailie took a similar path to your puppies when he went missing in January. I had the same problem with people taking down posters, just perservere. I distributed over 5,000 posters and leaflets, targeting parents and children on the school run, shoppers outside supermarkets in the areas, pubs, bus stations even the local milk float as they are out early in the morning. Kids who hand around the area are also good to become well acquainted with, especially when there is a reward for the return. I hung 4ft PVC banners from bridges and roundabouts in the area and had a very positive response. You said they were seen some weeks ago near Walderslade, Bailie was in this exact area, if you cross Walderslade Woods near Medway Crematorium it leads you to the woods at the back of the crematorium. If you follow the footpath its takes you under the M2 bypass and out to the Northdowns, they can travel some distance and this takes you into Maidstone Territory. I am not familiar with Hollingbourne itself but I am with the surrounding woodland area. Bailie was spotted asleep under a tree stump in the woods which run along Bluebell Hill so they can travel some distance. Please PM me if you would like to discuss anything, I would be more than happy to help. My heart goes out to you, Bailie and I will be preying for Bruno's safety. Someone, somewhere will know something. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Still no sign of this little boy. He seems to have disappeared into thin air! I just hope wherever he is he is being cared for and loved for the little sweetheart he is.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Covering all angles by alerting dog wardens out of this area just in case like Bernard he may have been picked up by a passing car but then taken out of the area.if any one lives outside this area- please make people aware- maybe in dog walking areas or pet supply shops- he must be some-where!! We have swamped Hollingbourne with posters, including small ones through letterboxes and on cars in the station car park. Problem is the boys obviously split up somewhere along the way but I don't know what else to do, except keep trying and keep ringing Viking Oak etc too. Please let someone spot him and recognise him from the posters, we so need this little boy back home. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

How about putting the smaller posters through letter boxes, someone may have seen the dog in a house in there street and call you. Worth a shot. Also, could always ask local postmen if they have seen any new dogs in houses. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Torn down? Well that might be a giveaway. Hollingbourne is around the area we've had missing dogs before, lurchers etc. I wonder? Be nice if posters could be put up at the Ramada and Tudor Park country club members' boards. Not sure if they'd be receptive, but worth trying. There's a garden centre near there as well. xxxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Keeping my eyes open here in Strood. Regularly go round the Cuxton Road area, and im daily up at the big Walderslade roundabout where the M20/M2 Junction is. Yesterday i went all the way up to Tunbridge Wells and back (using the A228) keeping my eyes peeled (as a passenger). Hoping theres some news soon.....Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

A second pet watch alert has gone out listing recent missing dogs to remind everyone that they are still missing. Alert listed Bruno, Bernard, Dolly, Cruise, Twixxy, Betsey abd the two remaining stolen cocker pups. this will refresh memories and reach many homes over the easter period. Hi Bailie's nan, any help you can give would be fantastic, thank you. I have postered all around Walderslade Woods were they were seen but that was a week ago and nothing since. They could be anywhere in the vicinity - or beyond. Without sightings it's very hard to know what to do next. My daughter lives in Walderslade so is keeping a constant lookout and I travel over to where Bernie and Bruno live and went missing every evening. Just wish they would show themselves to someone! Please think positive as I am sure that we will find little Bruno and Bernard. My daughter's dog went missing from Strood in January. Bailie was eventually found ten days later off Blue Bell Hill. They can travel such a distance. She had so much support from this site and they are brilliant. Please let me know if you need any help as I live in Hoo and work in Chatham. I can put posters through doors and shops if they have been sighted in this area. Please get in touch with all Dog Wardens in Tonbridge & Malling Council, Maidstone Council and Medway Council and also Viking Oak Kennels for the Maidstone/Walderslade area and Jasmil Kennels for the Medway/Sittingbourne area.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks Shelties Mum. Still no sign of these two, all we can do is keep looking and willing them home safely! Some sightings would be wonderful but wherever they are they're not showing themselves. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

You will surprised how resiliant they can be. Look how long they have been on this adventure and survived. Please try and keep positive we know how hard it must be. If willing them home would do it they would be with you now. We are all hoping they stay safe and are home soon. Sue xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

It seems that there is a footpath over Medway Bridge that would get these two to where there were last sighted. If they carry on in that direction they are getting themselves further away from home and into dangerous busy road areas. Please please keep a look out for these two little boys, they are probably terrified, cold and hungry by now and we need to get them home. Thank you to all you wonderful people who are helping us. Re SIGHTING.........the only way from Walderslade to Strood is via the M2 bridge or the Rochester Bridge. Whilst it's not impossible we feel that it is unlikely they would have made it across safley so we feel that the Waldeslade sighting is probably more positive. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sorry but I'm too far away in Yorkshire to poster. Have you tried asking the riding centre in this area to put posters up and also hand some out to their riders as they may come across your dogs whilst out and about. Do make sure you keep checking with any local pounds for any areas your dogs may have wandered in to. I hope you have some positive news soon xxx PamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Is it possible to ask for help postering further afield. The area where Bruno and Bernard went missing from is very rural and they could have wandered miles before being picked up and we may just be missing them. We're desperate to get them home as we are missing them dreadfully and don't know what else to do. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have given advice on how to find one and explained until we have a similar photo his poster cannot be emailed to helpers. Jan x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
