Every cloud.... through doglost and then talking to Rolo's owners we followed up a lead on a found collie in Cornwall. A sad and fragile chain of circumstances led us through Rolo to an abandoned pup. Just to say to Rolo's owners how our hearts go out to you and also to say thank you to you and to doglost - see Bishop's thread on dogslost. Love to all, Christo and Gilly.XXXLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

By the edge of a wood at the foot of the hill, Is a lush green meadow where time stands still, Where friends of a man and woman do run, when their time on earth is over and done, For here between this world and the next , Is a place where each beloved creature find's rest ! On this golden land they wait and play till Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day. No more do they suffer in pain or sadness for here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness!!!! Their limbs are restored their health renewed their bodies have healed strength imbuled !!!! They run through the grass without even a care, untill one day they Stop and sniff the air !!! All ears pricked forward, eyes dart side to side, Then all of a sudden one breaks from the pack ! For just that instant their eyes have met Together again person and pet, So they run to each other these friends from long past, The time of their parting is over at last !! The sadness they felt whilie they were apart has turned into Joy once more in each heart, They embrace with a love that will last forever and side by side they cross over together !! Run wild and free ROLO with the warmth of the sun on your back forever x x So young x What a lovely surfer dude to do what he done x bless him!!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi there all. I run a local Magazine, Breakwater Buzz, and would like to help. I'm based in Bude, Cornwall and I distribute from Barnstaple, North Devon, all the way down past Tintagel in North Cornwall, taking in the towns in between as well including Launceston, Exeter, Holsworthy etc. If you want me to carry messages, LOST posters or info, please email me. I have already copied Rolo and Arnie's posters for inclusion in my April/May issue which will come out at the end of this month. I will also be promoting http://www.doglost.co.uk/ in my pages. I hope this helps. Kind Regards Kate xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

laylas - so sorry your boy is missing. Our dog Arnie went missing a month ago from Bossiney Common whilst we were on holiday. We found to people in Tintagel really helpful, many dog lovers. Apparently local cornish paper is doing a story on lost dogs in the area, may be worth getting in touch (?Cornish Guardian). please let me know if you need any numbers for local dog wardens, vets, RSPCA, etc. As we live in Birmingham, would be very grateful if you could keep an eye out for Arnie whilst looking for Rolo. posted 14/2/08. Fingers crossed he comes home very soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
