- A very happy ending =) The police were told and it had been reported. Apparently it is a known area for dog stealing/selling. The man would have left his contact details but they are confidential. We have to think about the positive: he DID do the right thing and we are very grateful for that! Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Hello everyone! We are so happy to have our big puppy home! Ever since he has been home he has been rolling around on his back and wagging his tail. Unfortunately, he was without a doubt, stolen. He was returned to Battersea without his tag (which had our mobile #) - prob hoping they couldnt trace his real owners. We believe the pub manager may have had a word with this man because he is local, and told him to give him back because his owners are asking for the CCTV footage and taking it further. The pub may have told us a little white lie saying the dog walked off on his own so we would feel a little better and they could speak to this man one to one. We also believe the signs had him shaking in his boots. Hopefully the word got out that the whole of London New Zealand RFC was searching for him! When this man gave Zinny into Battersea, he still left his tag behind, probably hoping that he wasnt chipped and the owners wouldnt be able to eb contacted. But we were one step ahead. He had told Battersea if Zinny wasnt claimed he wanted to keep him. How horrible. We believe it is the same Polish man that was seen outside of the pub wanting to sell him. So all in all, this person did the right thing which is great, but in a sneaky way so that he had more of a chance of keeping Zinny - and had to be pushed into doing the right thing. It just goes to show those signs and doing some detective work can really make a huge difference. Along the way we must have spoken to the right people, and thank God. There was no way Zinny's Mummy and Dad were going to let someone take him away!!! We want to say say a HUGE thank you for your messages of support. This website is absolutely fantastic, and we will be here for anyone who needs help with finding their dog as we now know the awful feeling (we live in Buckinghamshire). **caryn - so happy you have got your Rottie boy back too =)** I also just want to add that we think he was not looked after very well at this persons house. So be so careful with dogs in the W3 area, especially around that pub. It was obvious he was not exercised and he was fed bad food, didnt drink enough water, the poor bugger... but we are thankful he was not on the streets. **To the person that turned him in: Thanks so much for doing the right thing.** Thanks again everyone... Zinzan's Dad should be sending a reunited photo of the three of us very soon! Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- So pleased to hear that this gorgeous Rottie boy is back home - what a handsome beast he is!!! Great to see so many Helpers assisting and supporting Zinzan's family. I couldn't help but notice caryn amongst them who lost (and found!) her own lovely Rottie boy, Barney 2/3 weeks ago - one good favour deserves another, eh?! Well done everyone who was involved in the search for this lad. Welcome home Zinzan and make the most of all the extra kisses and cuddles which I'm sure are coming your way!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- 1. Battersea Dogs & cats notified. Reference number: 227506 2. Chiswick and Ealing police notified. Acton Police notified but not interested untill today, thanks to help from doglost. Now we have a Reference number: CAD2903 25/2/08 ? The crime Ref # is on its way soon. They will be collecting the CCTV from belvedere pub. When I receive that I will request High Street footage? 3. Ealing Council notified: Reference number: 312289 4. 50 (Batersea Lost Dogs style) posters placed out around the pub where seen. 5. Tip off from three patrons on Saturday night, that a tall Polish man with brown hair mid 40?s was offering the dog for sale outside pub for ?100. Pub confirmed the dog had been there, checked the CCTV and confirmed that the dog was being held by the collar by a man. Suggested (but did not confirm) it may have left without him. They said they had a clear veiw of his face and would speak to him next time he is in. 6. As he is our team mascot, all of London New Zealand RFC on the lookout in the Acton area.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Hello, Thanks for all of the support already! My fiance Hayden will be posting our reference numbers and other information shortly. My next task is to contact all of the Vets in the area and notify them. Also i will try Royal Mail and ask them to put a notice out. He is the most loveliest and friendliest dog and loves everyone. We really hope someone will do the right thing and turn him in. All of the Missing posters have our Battersea reference # on them. His tag also has our mobile number, which is disheartening as no one has called it yet. I am awaiting a cime reference # from the police. They confirmed that they will be checking the CCTV images from the Pub. This website is truly fantastic, we are so happy we found it. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Here are the pictures of Zinzan. He is a very friendly dog, who would happily go home with anyone, sadly. Although it is not clear in the photo, he has a very nice long tail. He still has his puppy face although he is a big boy..e mail from owners who are registering shortly on site.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
