EMAIL FROM OWNER: I am very happy to tell you that I have found Megan. She was taken into a flat on my street on Monday evening and has been treated like a little princess ever since. The girl has just ped her off half an hour ago and now all the worrying and searching are over. I am never going to let her out of my sight again. Anyway thank you for all the help and support and if anybody loses a dog in the South Shields area please let me know. Thank you again............. Briliant news and thanks for letting us know. Thank you to the finder for looking after her and welcome home Megan. Great to see you are now going to stay on DL as a helper in your area. Give Megan a big hug and kiss from us all. Jan x

Have talked him through how to find a picture, unfortunately his computer is in another room. There has been a possible reported sighting yesterday on Commercial Road which is approx 2 miles from home, they had a phonecall in response to a Lost & Found advert in a South Shields local paper. Owner has contacted DW, Police and local rescues. Has now phoned PETLOG and reported her missing, Megan's chip has moved down to her shoulder (he not sure which one). Once a similar picture is found they can print posters and poster the area. Explained how to register, which he is doing shortly, but account may not be activated until tomorrow. Jan x

Spoken to owner he is having problems getting a photo and is not computer literate at all. I am on my way out at the moment but will ring him back and try and help him out. Jan x
