Scooby's owner had 2 lurchers nicked-the one was found wandering near by havine slipped her collar and now Scooby has been found. Owner has been given the number of the National Tattoo register and will be calling them to have his dogs ID'd.

Welcome home girl. Thank you to the gamekeeper and the owners friend for directing them to DL. Having a picture on site is brilliant and this proves how important it is, makes life much easier when cross checking etc. Jan x

I daresay he got nicked by the coursing people who found he was no good/couldn't catch him so left him when disturbed by gamekeeper. Welcome home Scooby and hope you get a chip & tag!

not everybody in the country is aware of doglost or other simular sights when we lost Harry in 2006 we were completeley ignorant to such helpful sights we just happened to ask the right person when we were out searching one evening and she told us about it so i guess you could say we were one of the lucky ones dont want to cause a fuss but i think your being a bit harsh Tracey

What a pity this friend didn't help Scooby's owner last week, to report him missing on Doglost!! Maybe owner should get Scooby chipped and tagged, then, next time the Game keeper finds him, he may not be missing for a week!!

Owner who has no internet access was invited around by a friend who wanted to help him find his stolen dog by using the internet-imagine his surprise when they went onto doglost and saw his Scooby who was stolen a week ago-thank you to finders for supplying a photo!
