Gracie was admitted to the vets quite ill with pneumonia (not surprising considering the weather she was out in), she was discharged last night, and the rescuers are taking her back to Spain now.
She will go straight back to her original foster home to recover, both physically and mentally.

Update from Gracie's owner.....Gracie’s been seen this afternoon by a farmer in fields between Quy and Horningsea. He was cutting hedges and kept and eye on her. She came up within 20 yds and when he got out she trotted off but when he got back in she came back again. Looked well and appeared quite calm. Fliers are quite sheltered and an old barn nearby. Am heading out soon to set up another feeding station near there. Might be even able to get access to a horse box where the trailer can have let down and we can put food and bedding inside.

Update from Gracie’s owner....
So a quick rundown of where Gracie has been seen. Last week she was local in Burwell mainly around Factory rd and Cockup bridge, Broad lane and the back of Nesslands Kennels. She was seen a few times running along Ness road towards Fordham and in front of Nesslands. Yesterday she was seen in Bottisham, Stow-cum-Quy (and almost on A14, ) then Horningsea, Lode and a few times in Swaffham Bulbeck. Was just told now that she was seen this morning on cycle path near Lode. So that’s positive and still in that general area.

Posted on facebook, Gracie's owner is aware and the lady who posted is in contact with Gracie's owner....

Mid/long light brown/blonde haired mid size collie type dog loose on A14 by A1303 junction near Cambridge. 8:15 this morning Sunday 25th Feb. Wearing blue harness but not a julius harness, thin straps. Stopped and tried to catch but was very scared and I was worried they would run into the road. Narrow misses with cars so called 999. Police on way, overhead signs now informing reports of animals. Couldn’t see once I got going again, so hopefully on fields adjacent to road. Going eastbound

we think we have established a likely hiding place for her, food is being left down and people are aware.

Gracie is a timid rescue dog that had only been in her new home a few days. Please do not chase.
She was sighted on Ness Road this afternoon.
