- Well just as I updated, the phone rang. SHE HAS BEEN FOUND, WOOP WOOP!!! The owners went back to the area & she was standing in the lane of the farm track. Her owners followed the stop & drop advice & managed to get her. I have a blurry screen, I am so happy.

- A search was carried out in the area where Truffles went missing. It is down a very long farm track with brambles on most sides, so at places she would have been seen if caught up. There are many outbuildings at the farm & it is hoped she may have gone back there to seek shelter. Owners are going to liaise with farm owners again & hopefully they will keep an eye out in case she returns. Posters are also going to be put further afield. Hopefully if someone had her, she will be made too hot to handle.

- There is a search being organised by a local Dachsy owner. It is tomorrow at 10am. There seems to be plenty of support.

Truffles was being looked after by a friend & managed to get loose with lead still attached. There area is bounded by some muddy tracks/fields/woodland, which has been searched by friends of owner & helpers ( especially other Dachsy owners)
Scenting advice has been given & if weather permits, a drone will be used at some stage if she isn't found. Presently we have strong gusty winds/rain/mist, so is not possible, this is likely to continue for a couple of days sadly. A further search is due to take place tomorrow again.
Will email general advice info. - 2018-02-14 16:23 Sarah - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambs Twitter Co-ordinator
