Another thought... maybe he has been locked in the school over the weekend and will come home when it is opened up on Monday. Hope so!

Hi, many cats that go missing have got into a delivery van or car and hitched a lift to their next port of call. As you are next to a grammar school, I would DEFINITELY contact the school to ask if they could mention in class registrations or put a notice up that Zac has been missing since Friday - maybe he hopped into a car waiting outside the school for a student, or maybe followed a child home from school - someone may know something. Or was there a delivery van around that day? Ask neighbours. Then call the delivery company and ask where the vehicle went next. Most vans use gps now and can say exactly where they went that day. Really hope Zac comes home soon, thinking of you

Check all outbuildings including empty houses, and cellars in case shut in... When checking ALWAYS take a SECOND look as some cats will hide behind or inside objects within (Especially if timid)
Cats are excellent at keeping very still, and quiet. Put some tuna or chicken in his dish, and call him; night/early morning is best. Rattle some treats too. Put his unwashed blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry; used towels too. Empty contents of the hoover onto the garden as his scent will be there. Wipe his scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too; anything leading up to the garden. Try a squeaky toy as it may attract his attention. Walk around the area holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. Someone may be feeding him (Common problem) When it is nightfall, (Unless found) and you are searching use a strong torch as the light will reflect a cats eyes. Poster around the area (And school) And post flyers through doors too. And ask around especially those with children as they can be very observant. Also when looking use the same deodorant say that you use on a day to day to day basis as he will recognize the scent. Paws xd.Last edited: 2018-01-28 14:05:08
