Hi, many cats that go missing have got into a delivery van or car and hitched a lift to their next port of call. Was there a delivery van around that day? Ask neighbours. Then call the delivery company and ask where the vehicle went next. Most vans use gps now and can say exactly where they went that day. Really hope your cat comes home soon, thinking of you

Thanks Skywalker99. He doesn't have a litter tray, but I've been putting the hoover contents out in the garden and also his blanket on the washing line. Have been out all hours of the day and night but no sign. The local CP have the details and he is on their facebook page too. He's been missing just over 5 weeks now - just keep hoping someone in the village is feeding him, but I've leafleted all the houses in the area, and haven't had any sightings.

have you put hoover contents and his litter tray in your garden in case he has got out of his area and needs to scent his way back? Also call late at night/early morning. let your local cats protection branch know too in case he gets handed in.

Thanks all. He is neutered and is very timid with people so I doubt he would get into a car (but hoping if this has happened, someone will get him scanned for his microchip). I have been all round the village asking if anyone has seen him, but no sightings so far. Thanks to all for sharing the details.

Is he neutered? as if not maybe seeking a mate. Or maybe he has climbed into a vehicle. Ask friends, and neighbours to share as well as DL, and post a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. And ask round. Someone may be feeding him (Common problem)

Sorry to see that ASLAN is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
