pontsian, thank you for keeping an eye out for Jessie. I wonder whether her owners have seen your post, as I have heard nothing from them. Would you be kind enough to phone or text them please? As we all know, so many of our 'missing' dogs manage to move around the country and often end up miles from home and so it's definitely worth Jessie's owner's checking this out.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks for your efforts caryn. Let's hope this will bring about some fresh leads. Owners, you told me on Tuesday that you were registered and able to post - are you now having problems? If so, please let us know so that we can help. As requested on Tuesday, call me at home (you have my landline number) so that we can discuss a renewed effort. Please don't give up on Jessie - she's much too precious.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have just had a quick conversation with Jessie's owner but he wasn't able to speak for long due to work commitments. He confirmed they had registered and are able to post messages, which I have asked him to do, letting us know where he has postered so far and any other relevant info. I said how important this was as there are many Helpers on this site (near and far) that are keen to help. I told him the good news was that we had had 14 Reunited Rotties so far this year and that we would like to make their Jessie Number 15! Hopefully, we shall speak later on this evening (I'm at work this afternoon).Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

As the DW for that area been told about JESSIE, owner keep checking your local rescues but don't just phone go in person and leave them with a poster, maybe your local paper might be worth a try also train stations ask if you can put posters up as a lot of people use them, also all the vets in your area. I hope she will be home soon. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Please find enclosed a picture of our beautiful Jessie. Jessie is 10(ish) years in age. She has been spayed. Last thursday(31st January) lunchtime she decided to go rabbiting with our terrier an hour later the terrier came home, she did not. We are all devastated having spent hours on foot searching for her, we have contacted the police, local dog warden, and I think most vetinerary surgeries in Herefordshire. We have also put posters up locally. She is quite distinctive as she has a tooth missing in front and will be feeling and not looking very comfortable now as she is on medication for her wonky hips, so It is so important to get her home. Jessie came into our lives six months after the birth of our daughter who is now seven, from the moment she came into our lives she embraced us as her family, she has been a useless gaurd dog but a loving friend. Please help us find her, Marion and Family....message from owners. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
