Wonderful news. So pleased that Derby is home . He has obviously been scratching at something to try, and get out. This is why it is l;ways best to take a second look. And post flyers through as many doors as you can in your area. Cats are very inquisitive are`nt they?. Derpy will probably be a little clingy now for a short while. Stay close now Derpy. Stay close now:-)xxx

Thanks for letting Doglost know as it will give hope to others whose cats are missing

Check all outbuildings including empty houses, and cellars in case shut in, When checking always take a second look as cats especially if timid will sometimes hide in an object within, and keep very still, and quiet. Empty the contents of the hoover onto the garden as her scent will be there. Put some tuna or chicken in her dish, and call her; night/early morning is best. Rattle some treats too. Put her unwashed blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Wipe her scent on your garden fences, gates, doors tool anything leading up the garden. Try a squeaky toy as it may attract her attention. Walk around the area holding an object with her scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. Someone may be feeding her. When it is nightfall, and you are searching use a strong torch as light will reflect a cats eyes. Wear the same deodorant say as you use on a day to day basis as she will recognize the scent. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Paws xd. Ask friends, and neighbours to share as well as DL. May be she has climbed into a vehicle as suggested by Nasis`s mum, in which case you could also post a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper. Keep checking those outbuildings.

Hi, many cats that go missing have got into a delivery van or car and hitched a lift to their next port of call. Was there a delivery van around that day? Ask neighbours. Then call the delivery company and ask where the vehicle went next. Most vans use gps now and can say exactly where they went that day. Really hope your cat comes home soon, thinking of you
