just got back from getting gnasher and his brother chipped by the fabulous pawz for thought fingers crossed that he never runs off again, but at least now if he does there's a far greater chance of getting him home quickly. em X

We've got him back!!! he was handed in to washington police station yesterday, and taken to newcastle cat and dog shelter today. thanks again for all of your help, and a special thanks to pawz for thought who rang me just as we were on the way back from collecting him. him and his brother are getting chipped through there. everybody happy!!!

thanks very much for your support, we really appreciate it. i've contacted dog wardens and let police know, as well as the local rescue that two nearby councils take dogs to. still need to contact rescues further afield and vets. going out today to poster. thanks again

Emily you need to contact all local vets, the dog Warden, and all local rescue centres asap. With no ID and being so appealing, if picked up he might be re-homed very quickly, so get cracking! Poster like mad

emilylemsip, welcome on board DL and thanks for posting, it really does helper when owners keep us updated. You need to poster the area as much as possible and go as far as possible. Make sure you contact DW, Police and Recues for your area and go further afield' if you border with other Council's. Good luck and hope you find your boy soon. Jan x
