It's a bit of a long shot, but I just found this little chap on the BCDH pages, and wondered if anyone is still keeping an eye on the DL website for news on Winston? Could this possibly be him? He was found as a stray - fingers crossed x http://www.bathcatsanddogshome.co.uk/animaldetails.asp?ID=2350Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Collette, sorry you have still not been reunited with Winston.  I have updated his original page which was on DL but you may have had problems finding it.  The details needed updating, this has now been done from your recent duplicated registration, which has now been deleted.  Do keep up with the postering and checking of rescues etc, great to see he is microchipped.  Good luck.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I hope it is OK to do this but I cross posted Winstons Link to a Shar-Pei forum that has many memebrs from the UK. It is an unusual breed and all Pei owners like to talk to others when they see them out walking. Hope this helps and I will remove the post if I am not allowed to cross post. (Please let me know)Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Can you ring the farmer and ask him, just so that you can rule this out. I do hope that you find him very soon he is so beautiful, the good thing in your favour is that there are not many like him about. Hurry home Winston.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Gemma C X, welcome on board DL and thanks for posting. You need to get as many posters out as you can and get his picture known, we cannot stress enough how important the postering is. Keep checking rescues, important you visit at least once a week in person. Contact any bordering DW's and police. Make sure you notify the Chip company that he is missing. Try and get him in the local free papers or any other paper that will run something for you. Good luck and do keep us updated. Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Probably means someone has picked him up...so keep on postering. The doglost team can offer more advice on whether you should offer a reward or not...it might help. Good luck...I hope he turns up soon! (From the owner of another Winston 'runaway'...who ccame home!)Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I hope you find Winston soon. If you haven't already, it would be worth you contacting Leigh Cats and Dogs Home and Manchester Dogs Home. If he has been picked up he may be a little further afield and both places are not that far away from you. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Good this boy is chipped, make him hot lots of poster up and also get poster to your local rescues and a bit further out, also local Dog warden. if he went from home then put smaller poster in the house of your neighbors, to get them to check gardens and garages. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
