OH WOW!!! How wonderful to see Elsa looking so happy, fit and healthy. I had often wondered how she was getting on. She’s looking fabulous. Who would have thought it was possible to see such an amazing transformation which is all credit to the veterinary staff, her carers, foster family, supporters and... finally Elsa’s forever family.

From the first day of seeing Elsa's rescue picture and then following her journey - seeing the pictures of her getting well day by day and her face changing from sadness to happiness has been an incredible journey ...My tears of sadness have now turned into tears of happines, knowing Elsa finally has a loving, caring forever home - her journey is complete ...I hope we can still see pictures of her to see how happy she is ..Love and kisses to you beautiful Elsa xxxx

Lovely to see Elsa settled in her new home and has reached her 40 kg target weight.There are lovely Day 85 photos on Facebook, one shows her sleeping curled up on the fireside mat surrounded by toys and love, looking the picture of health and contentment, in direct contrast to Day one when found curled up in the cold, alone, so thin her breed was unrecognisable and close to death. What a difference in this latest photo, Elsa obviously is still underweight but she looks positively obese compared to her photo on days one ( joking ) It`s just so lovely to see her out and about enjoying life, thanks for the updates, much appreciated. Elsa is a star, along with all her carers :-) I can get the new photos when I press F5 and refresh on my laptop, but I can never seem to get the page to refresh on my tablet, I`m a bit of a technophobe though :-)

I bet the only thing about snow she knew was being abandoned in it! How lovely to see Elsa filling out her skin and having no bandages on her paws, she is definitely getting more love and care than she must have ever dreamt possible :-) Thank you to each and every person who has helped to make this happen, and thank you to whoever is giving us these lovely photographic updates, as has already been said it warms the heart.

It`s lovely to see what good food, good care and lots and lots of love and TLC will do for an animal that was most likely within hours of death. I am still hoping tat whoever was responsible for the state Elsa was found in and who had probably abandoned her to die, will be found and punished. Does anyone know if the authorities are trying to find that evil person/persons?

The photo of Elsa lying on the rug surrounded by comfy bed/beds shows how relaxed and well she is becoming, her expression says it all really :-) Well done to her carers, you really are stars for all that you`re doing and it must be rewarding for you to see the changes; we see the most dramatic change as we get these periodic and welcome updates whereas it`s more gradual to see on a daily basis, but looking back at Elsa`s first photos it`s remarkable to see the power of the spirit to survive, in action. Amazing work all round xxx

Donation made by phone direct to vets towards Elsa's ongoing treatments, including in lieu of my friends' two dogs Christmas pressies :-) I can imagine that Elsa looks on her procedures as lovely fussing compared to what she knew in her past!

Such a lovely photo, I keep looking at Elsa and seeing a dog who is relaxed and putting on weight slowly but surely; thankful that to my mind this probably means no underlying health issues? I wonder what is going through Elsa`s mind as she gazes at the mesmerising fire from the comfort of her special mattress-bed ( complete with headrest .. what true bliss ) She really is an amazing dog who, from all the update photos, looks to be a very gentle and loving girl. On another note I agree with Jasper that it hurts to think of all the thousands of dogs and puppies that are probably in the same desperate state as Elsa must have once been. Thanks again to all who are caring for Elsa and for keeping us updated :-)

To see her here on her soft, cosy bed and enjoying the warmth of the fire, is heartwarming and is nothing short of a miracle that Elsa survived. Makes me feel so sad that so many dogs will never experience such simple things and will only know a cold shed at the bottom of garden. Bless you Elsa, and those who care for you.

Elsa has a lot of love to give and it`s obvious by the photo that her foster carer is happy to receive it :-) You can`t help but smile at the sight and knowledge that Elsa looks to be one of the lucky babes .... just wish there wasn`t the thought that there are many more out there going through what she has ben through. But this is Elsa`s story and it is a heartwarming one, and one to show there is hope against all odds xxx

What lovely manners Elsa has, she is sitting so patiently which says such a lot for a dog who has been so undernourished! I`m sure this last couple of weeks have been the best she has ever known, more love and gentle care than she ever imagined humans were capable of. Says a lot for her character. It's lovely to see Elsa out in the fresh air, amazing after her inability to even lift her head 11 days ago! Obviously Elsa is still extremely underweight beneath her warm fleece but all the love and TLC she is receiving is bringing her back to life. Thank you to all who are caring for her, your dedication prooves there are far more good people in this world than the evil scum who allowed Elsa to suffer as she clearly has done. Onwards, slowly but surely, beautiful Elsa :-)

I DO Hope Her Owner/s are 'tuning in' to Her progress - I DO Hope that they have a really Horrid Christmas & New Year - & that they are racked with guilt over what they have subjected poor Elsa to -
OR Had Elsa perhaps been dumped elsewhere / strayed from Home & been in Survival Mode for a long time - then found Her own way to where she was found ?

It`s simply amazing to see the progress in each update photo of Elsa, she really was so lucky to be found when she was and to have received every ounce of care and love, thank you to everyone who has been involved in literally bringing her back to life, I hope there will be no long-term organ damage from her terrible starvation. To see the photos on the Blog for Dogs is heart-breaking but heart-warming as time goes on.I hope the police or authorities are trying to find who left Elsa, she must have been carried seeing as she could barely stand on her own, so surely someone or some CCTV would have picked something up in the area? I will send a cheque to help pay for Elsa`s care ( I don`t do online sorry ) so am guessing either direct to vet if anyone has address or to Animal House? Keep getting stronger Elsa!

Poor baby, I hope Elsa continues to improve and has no set-backs, she looks so much better in her update photo. Thank you to everyone who has got her to safety and are giving her the necessary treatment. I hope whoever has allowed Elsa to get into this pitiful state will be found and prosecuted.

Yay Elsa is on her feet,, very wobbly legs and had to be helped up but practice makes perfect. No sign of tumours or underlying probems so probably all down to sheer neglect. Elsa is now drinking on her own and eating her miniscule portions of her gastrointestinal food. Well done girl <3

UPDATE AS OF 07:56 10/12/17
This morning we are slightly more optimistic. Elsa started to improve around 1am sitting up slightly and then even managing to eat a gravy bone she had refused all food until then which wasnt surprising but worrying nevertheless.
3am she managed a spoonfull of gastro diet and this is continuing slowly.
The amazing team at Your Vets are keeping us updated as our whole area is now snowbound and it is unlikely Lin can get into her today or the vets get out.
Please keep Elsa in your prayers she has a long road ahead but we will fight with you every step of the way.
