Sadly, Rowans body was found near the A483 dual carriageway not far from where she went missing. I am a member of Lost and Found Pets Wrexham and surrounding areas on fb and owners friend posted that yesterday

Sadly just been told it is not Rowan, by someone who knows the finder. Not sure what they have done to check, but presume the owner has been contacted and confirmed it is not his bitch.

In case the owner does not visit this page, I have left a message on the mobile contact number above to ask them to come and look at their page. I tried phoning the second contact number, but the person I spoke to said they were a vets and did not know anything about it and without an owner's name, they could not help. It might not be the same one, but it is hopeful I think.

Just seen a facebook post from the North East and the Fox Red Labrador Retriever bitch found in Peterlee is chipped to Wales. Here is the link to the post:

Thanks Mary, Rowan wasn't wearing a collar when she we t missing bit I suppose there is always a possibility she could be now if someone has "found" her. Will pass comments to owner

I saw a fox red labrador bitch this morning trotting calmly down a quiet lane between Overton and Hollybush. Lovely dog, great condition, got the impression she was a local dog out for a stroll. Tried to catch her with treats, but she would not come close enough. I bit far from home, but thought I'd check it out with you. She had on a collar with a very smart white tag with coloured symbols on it.
