The Lincolnshirefields Children’s Centre - What happened ... “She was in one of our out buildings and got herself cornered so 2 of our Trustees kept her blocked in, grabbed her by the collar and brought her into the office, she had a bit of food and was given a blanket to rest, she knew she was safe and started to get to sleep. Then was transported to the local vets”

Mango has been sighted (1445 16-12-17)by my wife who was jogging on a footpath between Aldenham Road and Finch Lane,Bushey. My wife called to here but Mango didn’t stop, opting to keep running towards Finch Lane. Fingers crossed she is found soon as she looked tired and hungry.

Karen wondering if its worth updating this photo to now skinny mango photo? x
DogLostKaren - Area Co-ordinator London, Home Counties & Police Liaison
Please share MANGO everywhere . . .

Mango has disappeared;

From Northwood originally, she's been to Ruislip, Harefield, Middlesex & Denham, Buckinghamshire.

Then she appeared again in Elstree, Herts. WD6 recently

She's a nervous rescue dog who doesn't know her home; her rescue is miles away. This poor angel needs to be found as she has been out for ages (as the latest photo shows on her Facebook group) and needs to be home and loved!!

If you see her, please don't call her or chase her JUST CALL Ben Rawson-Jones

PLEASE join her Facebook Group too - HELP Find MANGO - 07977 938249

Mango is constantly on my mind. Really hoping for good news soon x
DogLostKaren - Area Co-ordinator London, Home Counties & Police Liaison
Well what a roller coaster fortnight - quite a few possible sightings, then a definite sighting in Harefield, then nothing for a week . . .

Then, a random post on Facebook was picked up by one of our DL team, about a very thin dog, possibly whippet, that was visiting someone's garden. The photo attached to the post showed a very thin Mango, the collar being the key.

So the family have been approached and have agreed to help us keep her coming to their garden. As Mango scares so easily we are keeping location to ourselves for her safety; key members of our team, local dog friends and some amazing Dog Warden helpers are all in touch.

We have left cameras set up in the garden and so far Mango has come and been caught 3 consecutive nights, although the family had been seeing her on and off for over a week before. She's now being fed regularly, little and often so that we can trap her when suitable opportunity arises.

Quality of food is being upped now to give her more warmth and energy and keep her coming back

Watch this space, we will update as soon as we can.

Ladies & Gents; no joy today YET . . .

It's very cold out there and we are hoping that Mango will be keeping warm somewhere at night, but she has to come out to eat and drink, so hopefully as it's not supposed to rain, she'll come out tomorrow . . .

She seems to be moving around and people do keep calling her and trying to catch her - this isn't working!!

SO - please can you share this new Poster with the Message:

DON'T CALL MANGO; CALL HER OWNER
Ben Rawson-Jones

There is a lot of work going on in the background; a Thunderclap has just been set up, we'll share here as soon as it's approved. We'll ask you to support on Facebook & Twitter once this is live!

We have a lovely lady sitting and e-mailing many many different people and businesses that may be able to help with spreading awareness; she has even asked for Pilots to look as they take off from Airports - what a star!!

We are also trying for Press, Radio, TV coverage, will keep you updated with any success.

In the meantime, please please share this beautiful girl - we need to get her in from the cold

Thank you so much for your continued help and support

COME ON 'TEAM MANGO'

We're tweeting from @Find_Roxy if anyone can RT for us too please x

Turtle here is the latest from Help Find Mango
Well we’ve had a really good day in the Mango world today! She’s got us all where she wants us; watching her from a distance and wondering where she’ll appear next. 🙉

So she appears to like Harefield area; near St Mary’s Church today, then up some very steep hills over to Bayhurst Woods, with a quick interlude in the Horses field’s by Breakspear House.

All with us puffing and panting, following.

Thank you to all those that have seen her and called us this weekend! Brilliant, we see her movement pattern emerging. This will help us keep her in a certain location and get ready to try to catch her.

She’ll not just come to anyone, she’s not responding to calling her name; so please don’t she just runs away.

Please look for her, watch her from a distance and call us. Ben’s number on poster or mine 07774 724 797 and we’ll find people to help

She appears to like farms and horses as we saw today when she was running through and sunbathing in a horses field. Please can you alert stables, Horse-riders, farms and people who work on farms in the Harefield, Ruislip, Northwood way.

This little madam has now been out in the countryside long enough and she needs to go home!!

Finally, a huge thank you to everyone for the posters up everywhere, the comments and calls and spreading the word! Everyone’s looking for Mango!

Here’s to a reunion photo being next!!!
Turtle
Any news?
ND
Yesterday (17th) I saw a dog in the distance that looked a lot like Mango, though Ican't say it was her for sure. It was up the top of the 'cowfield' near the pond at Ruislip Lido. The minute it saw me and my dogs it headed into the woods looking anxious. I didn't see any humans about who might have been with it. I've let the owner know. I'll have another walk there tomorrow with a pocketful of sausages. Last edited: 2017-11-18 18:13:02 by ND

EVENING MANGO WATCHERS!!!

Well it’s gone a little quiet on the Mango front today, but she’s had a busy few days travelling miles, so maybe she’s found somewhere nice to sleep and rest.

Now that she appears to come out towards the ‘country’ there are more places that she can safely wander without coming across anyone.

It’s not a bad thing Ben, please reassure your mum too as she was worried today!!

I think we need to keep an eye out everywhere when driving / walking around, but particularly anywhere off Breakspear Road, Ducks Hill Road, Harvil Road - Ruislip/Northwood/Harefield areas

If anyone can help us keep these roads, Woods and bridlepaths postered; including Ruislip Lido too, we’d appreciate it as the posters appear to be disappearing.

Let’s keep Mango well and truly in everyone’s minds please!!!! If you can share this post yourselves again, that would be great. Thank you

Come on girly, time to go home to your lovely new Bed and Home
DogLostKaren - Area Co-ordinator London, Home Counties & Police Liaison
choccypaws - Mango was seen to interact with a small dog in Woods this morning, but ran off when human approached. Just in case you do see her x
DogLostKaren - Area Co-ordinator London, Home Counties & Police Liaison
Thank you to all of the people that were out yesterday looking for Mango near St Mary's Church in Harefield, where she eventually jumped over wall into local fields.

She could be anywhere now; so please look out everywhere - Harefield; Ruislip; Denham; Ickenham; Northwood; Rickmansworth; Maple Cross - even the Chalfonts - lots of green fields and woods which she'd cover easily (especially as she was seen in Harrow on 13th and travelled to Harefield from there in a day)

Thanks to those who drove around and postered / did the leaflet drops too.

Ben is working so hard to get her home - his Mum who I spoke to last night is so appreciative of everyone's support and wanted it passed on to everyone!

Let's get this girl home to where she belongs xx
Turtle
So sorry to hear that Mango hasn't been caught yet, hope her collar didn't come off. Thinking of her every day and hoping for the happiest of outcomes.

Latest update from Ben
Friends, thank you for all the kind messages of support and offers for help in recent times. I'm sorry if I've been unable to get back to everyone yet. Sadly this afternoon didn't bring the result we wanted. From what I'm told, a well-intentioned attempt to grab Mango by the collar resulted in her jumping over a wall to get away and sprinting off. Agonisingly, this was just before the wonderful experts arrived on the scene. Mango was last seen in fields near St Mary's Church in Harefield.

Huge thank you to all those kind folks who headed there to help. I apologise to my dear friend Ben Salem for luring him into cow pat infested fields in the dark on the off chance we'll see something. We can only hope she's stayed in the area, but it's common for dogs to keep on moving if they've felt threatened. It's such a sad and incredibly frustrating time but there is still plenty of hope.

Thanks Lottie She was from a rescue near Aylesbury. Yes I think some sort of feeding station maybe set up. Will pm you x
DogLostLottie @ Muddy Paws-Area volunteer North London.
Hi Nicky, this is a really tricky one as she is so new to the family so may not even go to them. Which rescue centre was she from or from abroad? Is there anyone who knows her best that could come? Do we know where she is now? Which direction she was going and if she was running etc? Scent trails I'm not sure will work as she doesn't know their scent yet. Do you think that she will be hungry by now? If there is somewhere nearby the sighting were you could take a disposable BBQ and cook some sausages and just wait their quietly to see if that draws her in xx Last edited: 2017-11-07 17:07:34 by Lottie @ Muddy Paws-Area volunteer North London.

From FB 'MANGO sighting - just after midday today - Somervell Road just off Field End Road near Alexandra Park in Eastcote/Northolt area. Heading there now. She is scared of strangers and the person who saw her was unable to collect her. She barely knows us as we only adopted her on Sunday but hopefully she will recognise us.
