Abi - don't know how I missed this one. I know the shorne/ifield road well.. I'm afraid i work full time and it's dark by the time i've finished but i'll travel along that way every opportunity I can. Nevertheless the road has plenty of shelter and small animals for Dizzy to eat so don't panic that he'll be hungry/cold etc. Now I'm not sure where in Gravesend you are but I'm assuming that you're not far away from this area. I think therefore scenting has to be a very viable option, to make Dizzy realise who you are and that home isn't far away. If you haven't been given instructions before now, send me a PM and I'll talk you through it. SB xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

abi, remember. if you spot Dizzy take it very easy. It may take time for him to clue it is you. Get too excited and he could run before it sinks in he knows that voice. Wishing you loads of luckLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

have you checked foal farm they have got a few yorkies in there, i know that the microchip does not always stay put and sometimes cant be found ! has anyone emailed foal x x stay safe dizzy xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

So sorry Abi, it must be disappointing. Don't forget to do regular checks at the rescues in the area and with dog wardens to. The microchip sometimes travels round the body and can be missed when scanned. We currently have one similar case now. Sue xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

It's hopeful news if a dog has been sighted. I wish you all the luck in the world Abi. Come on Dizzy, be found xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Abi he is probably very scared and if too many are chasing him round he will feel threatened. Try to ask people who call you to stay back and just follow at a distance until you can get there. Good luck and let us know if you want any advice. Sue xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

have had recent phone call of possible sighting along shorne ifield road, late friday/sataday night, and possibly monday. the people attempted to catch him but said they could not catch him, he is usually a very friendly dog and likely to jump into anyones car, so this behaviour is unlike our little dizzy. awaiting call from man who has been putting food out for the dog along shorne ifield road. i am going to drive along and see who i can talk to etc.. perhaps some one has picked him up? also didnt mention that he has a bell on his coller because he is so small and so we can hear where he is all the time.. come home dizzLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
