- Where Lost Amersham HP6 5PH in Bucks. Went missing from Chesham football club on wed 20th Sep. Dexter may have been hit by a car so critical we find him. He ran down Clifton Rd into a driveway.

- Other Info Urgent that we try to find Dexter as is thought to have been hit by a car & family distraught. Dexter will be very scared so if spotted pls drop to knees & let Dexter approach you if spotted so he doesn't get spooked, Any help really appreciated xoxo

Oh my, the last 24+ hours have prob been some of the worst of my life, (apart from when dex got parvo in Jan) people of Chesham and amersham you have been absolutely amazing, there are literally not enough words for us to express our gratefulness to every single person who has been out, helped via phones, messages, sightings etc. Some have given their day up and travelled far and wide. ,We have been v v lucky to get our boy home, we have just got to monitor him over next 12 hours, but other than his eye nothing too wrong. - Yes it is confirmed - Dexter has been found in a garden where he ran after being hit by car. He is on way to vet but for a check up - seems ok .

- Dexter has been found. Woods next to Clifton Road, in a garden. Looking forward to Dexter going into the blue once owner has confirmed. :-) x

- Just spent an hour searching the woods and common between South and North Road and the woods upto Clifton. Spoke to a few people to spread word, but sadly no sightings. Will go out and search again later.

- Agree re. k9tracker. She has great success tracking dogs down. I will walk in the woods behind Raans Farm at lunchtime (between Holloway and Bell Lanes) as we have found dogs from Amersham hiding there before if they come over that way. Will try further over (between Bell and Stony Lane) later this afternoon (all Little Chalfont). However, if he was close-ish to home, they often make their own way back so leave food out and fingers crossed.

- I'm walking Chesham Bois Common and the woods at 11am today so will have a search and spread the word. Lots of volunteers already arranging to search the area through FB posts on Our Chesham and Our Pets UK.
