RIP Andy.Gutted to be posting this update. Andy was found today not far from where he went missing it isn't the outcome we all hoped for him.Condolences to his family at this very sad time. Sleep tight little man xx

Comment from Andy's owner.....We are heading back up to keswick on sat/sun. If anyone would like to join us for "bring Andy home walk" we are going to arrange a meet on Sunday at 10.30am -11.00 by the entrance to isthmus cottage. We are now looking for closure to the very sad story. Thank everyone for your warm words and support.

If the sighting was the morning of the 29th I'm afraid it wasn't Andy. A neighbour's dog slipped its lead at this exact place and ran across the A66 at Howe Lane. He is a very dark Cavalier Spaniel which at a distance could have been mistaken. I also think it would be very hard for Andy to get here without being seen. Would hate it for any search to be in the wrong area.

Does anyone have contacts for a drone or tracker dog in that area? I only know details for a tracker dog in Devon but I'm sure they travel further afield www.k9searchdog.org
