- Very sad news. You may know what happened but if not the vets should be able to tell you. Our vets always share sad news on their facebook page and look after deceased animals for a week or more to give owners time to get in touch before arranging cremation.

- I am sorry if your cat has passed away but the explanation of the circumstances isn't working for me, what sort of person who works at a vets would not scan for a microchip? also the quick and irretrievable disposal of the body seems very convenient! Just saying

You could may maybe put Rambo on Cats Protection`s Wall of Memory with a loving tribute, and photo if you wish. It may ease your pain a little. ( Have done this with my own cat)You can have a private memory if you wish. Re: password: thus only you can see it. - I am assuming that all outbuildings checked, including empty houses, and cellars? Very odd! Could it be that he has got into a vehicle? someone posted that up to 80% of missing cats could have done this
Is someone else feeding him? I would still put scented items in the garden just in case. Also wipe his scent all over the exterior of the garden. Is there a dominant cat near you,? As sometimes they will chase a cat out of it`s own territory, and they can become disorientated, and feel lost.. Though they usually return after a few days or so. Poster around the area, and put flyers through doors too. And ask around. Also ask friends, and neighbours to share as well as DL. And perhaps post a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper. I have uploaded a couple of photos from your Facebook post so that shares can go to local facebook pages (including DogLost Cornwall) and posters can be printed to help spread the word - hope that's OK.Last edited: 2017-08-25 00:48:20 by GeoffA - Area Volunteer - Cornwall, Scotland & Northumberland
