Are there any updates re Benjy?.x
Carl
Yes the microchip company have him noted nationwide as lost/stolen
Unknown
I expect you have already done it but am wondering if you have phoned the chip company to make sure details are all correct and to flag him up as stolen?
Carl
The last possible sighting was Thursday 31st August 2017.
Carl
Yes the sighting of Benjy was about 1 mile from where he ran from. I have taken my bitch (his mom) round the area and she gets very sniffy and laying scent round there, so it seems a positive area.I have left things from home up there and visiting whilst dark to see if there are any sightings of him.

Hi Carl, shame that this wasn't Benjy but glad the dog is now safe. Was the sighting of Benjy where he went from today? x
Carl
From the possible sighting 25/8/2017 we discovered the dog was not Benjy but a Rottweiler, which was sighted again yesterday and has now been collected by the dog warden.

We have received a call today to advise that a possible sighting back in the location that he was lost, the man who saw him was by Langely Swimming baths and tried to catch him but he ran off. We are currently searching the area by the swimming baths, have taken our other dog over to hopefully leave some scent and also taken his blanket to try and attract him. At the moment we have not found him but will be also taking other things over there later to entice him out of hiding. Good news is if it is him then he cannot be too injured following the collision with the car as he ran.

Possible sighting on Doulton Road, Cornfield Road Rowley Regis B65. The canal runs along side the road. Been down but too dark to see anything so will go in the morning.
Carl
Still no sighting of Benjy. More posters have gone up in the area. We have put a post on WM & free Radio website and he should appear in all spar shops in the UK over the next few days.
I will be calling dog homes and the warden again to see if they have received any dogs.
He is chipped and his chip is on high alert but I'm clutching at all straws to find my boy

Can you get hold of a tracker dog? I don't know anyone in that area but if you contact k9tracker.co.uk they may be able to suggest someone. I presume you are checking the dog pounds to see if he has been brought in - I know he is chipped but sometimes when scanned they aren't located. Really hope there is some positive news soon

Sorry it was not Benjy....
Carl
Received a lead as a lady heard a dog crying on the top floor of the flats in langley. After some climbing and investigations, it wasnt Benjy, so back to square one.
Carl
Just realised that the man seen in pound road was probably my family member as they walked my other blue staff up there around that time yesterday to see if she could leave a scent or sniff him out. Another sees anything please let me know.
Carl
I have received a message today, a lady saw a man with a blue staffy at 5.30pm yesterday in Pound Road, oldbury. She thought it was unusual as not seen many blue staffs in the area.

He was at my mother in laws, she went outside and pulled the door too, but he nuzzled it open and ran out the gate. He may be injured as she saw s car hit him and another lady confirmed that as she saw him in the road. He then ran off but they are not sure where he ran. We have searched the whole are and spoke to lots of people but no avail as yet.
