Sorry he wasn't your Wallace. I have a rescue dog with is probably a PBGV so I know what characters they are. The missing dogs on here really get to me and I'm sure we each have some which get to us more than most because of their breed, area or circumstances. I'd love to see them all home safely. Hi, it's Wallace's owner here. I checked out the found dog but unfortunately it isn't Wallace. They've traced the dog's history through its ID chip but I don't think they've traced the most recent owner yet. Breed rescue is collecting it soon so I'm sure he'll end up in a good home anyway. Thanks a lot for calling - it's good to know Wallace isn't forgotten.

I've just telephoned Wallace's owners. They still haven't found him so they are going to check this PBGV out. Told them I'd would put this post on. I know it's a long shot as it's so far away but the poor things do seems to get all over the country when they're missing. I'd say never say the dog which MIGHT be yours would be too far away to be your dog - allways check. Good Luck Wallace's owners - hope it's good news - Val

On the dogs found page there is a Basset griffon petit found in TF (Telford?) - but states it is white with black and tan.

THERE are only a few bassets around my area i will ask all of them where they got them.hope this makes you feel a bit better.I lost clover and miss her so much.Thanks to doglost i will never let anyone pass without a conversation about there doggies.Barney my other beagle is missing her so much.louise
