2.4K shares on Facebook and still no owner coming forward. I'm going to give them until Monday, which will make it a week of looking, then see about getting him a proper, permanent, loving home. I can't believe that anyone putting at least a token effort into finding him wouldn't by then have contacted at least one of the places I've made aware of him.

NickyB - wish I knew. He's with me and my husband, and he's so lovely, so sweet. He was in a barn surrounded by sheep and lambs and was just sitting quietly in a corner, such a gentle boy. If he had a loving family they must be hating themselves right now for not IDing him. If nobody turns up to claim him I have a couple of very nice friends that want to take him into their home, have to see what the warden says.

I was in contact with finder earlier this morning.Finder has a retainer from the dog warden.

Wii share to DogLost Northumberland also as CA8 does appear to include part of the Northumberland area. Can OP advise approximate location found?

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
