Probably totally unrelated but on national pet register site for Sept 20: copper coloured Chow Chow type dog with tag name of \"Chester\" found wandering in Sutton park near to Bracebridge Pool, covered in mud. Dog also looks as if it has only one eye. Spare lead used to capture dog and handed to Park Ranger. Phone number on tag of 01419541116 which is Glasgow area. Unable to get through on this number (it appears to be out of service) hence leaving with ranger.

Have jut phoned owner as there is a red male chow listed on the doglost pages as needing out (presumably from a pound) He is going to check it out. keep your fingers crossed :-)
