Spoke to owner tonight and Dev is still missing. Things went quiet after the sightings and owner doesnt know what happened whether succumbed to the cold weather or picked up by someone. Owner will monitor site for updates.

The Kirkintilloch sighting was of a greyhound running loose and scavenging. However, a man called the SSPCA centre at Dumbarton on New Year's Eve to say he had found a greyhound, said he would ring back but didn't and didn't leave number. It could have been a different dog, we don't know so have to follow up all possibilities. So watch out for anyone who has recently acquired a hound of this description, but also watch for hound on the run Kirkintilloch.

A dog meeting Dev's description has been seen in Kirkintilloch, so please ask anyone you know in that area to watch out for him.

UPDATE: There was a fairly positive sighting in Bishopbriggs yesterday afternoon, in Brackenbrae Avenue. If you're in the area please keep your eyes peeled.

Thanks for the info rottiesnstaffs, i've been wondering what had happened to this poor boy, hopefully they will find and catch him very soon. It's getting quite cold up here in the north, so must be even colder in Scotland! Come on Dev darling, show yourself so you can go home and get warm xxx

According to the link below there have been sightings of Dev in Sighthill area of the city and volunteers have been out day and night looking for him. I hope theres something positive soon, its too cold out there xx
