Please publish this for me, again I can not log in because of my browser.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the person/persons who found/released/returned Charlie, safe and well to us late last night. He is so happy that he woke me up 14 times in the night just to say that he was back again, with little trills and meows, and has continued to re-arrive home throughout the day.

He is now playing in his own, safe field in the sunshine. I can see he has been well cared for, and of course I am delighted to see him beyond all words. I very much appreciate your kindness, and all the help I have received from others in locating him - including this web-site, very much so. I also wish anyone who is still missing a pet all the very best in recovering them safely.

message from owner...Hi, many thanks for all your help with searching for my cat. I have tried to log in with both passwords that I entered (one didn't have the right format required so I made another that did).

I want to thank those who have given me such helpful and valuable advise. I have not found the cat, but it has made me feel more empowered, so that I know that I have probably done everything I can for the time being. If you could pass on my thanks I would be very grateful, as I suspect my browser is not compatible for the log in process.

Many, many thanks again, it has been such a relief to following all the best advice. Dinah

I dont know the area,as I live in England, but is it possible you could maybe set up cat traps which you could hire from an animal rescue centre, with something with his scent on inside'? unwashed blanket? If he has been stolen the best thing of course would be Fb Twitter etc. What about a newspaper ad if possible. How about a radio or TV appeal? Has he maybe "Hitched" a lift" Paws xd.

message from owner...Sorry again, I need to explain this, and I am sure you are very busy. I think the cat may have been stolen because he disappear during the Easter break, when there were tourists in the area. However, we live in an isolated valley with mountains of three sides, much gorse covered, so it is obviously very difficult to search the area in a thorough manner. If the cat does turn up, he tests positive for the Feline aids virus (this was of little consequence in our area because the feral, barn cats are mostly infected already).
We also informed the Police that we had him early last spring, with his description, and made major attempts to find his owner via vets, cats protection, gumtree, white boomerang etc. We were informed that he had most likely been dumped here by a cat farm breeder, because his behaviour indicated being kept only in a cage previously. It was thought that he was dumped because he attacked other cats at the time (he is all better from that now after re-socialisation) and because he had the FAIDS Virus. He is identifiable from having this illness, perhaps it should be put as an identifying feature? I leave that to your discretion.

Many thanks for your kind attention Dinah.

Presume he is neutered. Also assume all outbuildings were checked including empty houses, and cellars etc? Put tuna or chicken in nhis dish and call him; night/early morning is best. ~Just because yoyu cant find a cat doesn`t necessarily mean they aren`t around. Put his unwashed blanket into a clean container, along with something with your scent on too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry; used towels too. Empty contents of the vacuum onto the garden as his scent will be there. Wipe his scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too. Walk around the area holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some treats too. Someone may be feeding him (Common problem) Tryu a squeaky toy as it may attract his attention. Poster around the area, and put flyers through doors too. ask friends, and nerighbours to share as well as DL. Paws xd.
