Thank you geoffa for updating. I was person that found dog and have still been unable to get an answer to the landline number that was on his collar. Maybe owner on holiday and dog was being looked after by someone else...hope he gets reunited as he was lovely soft, gentle well cared for dog

Further info from public post on Missing Pets Scotland:
"Thought id post this now.. german shepard found in hospital after 1 this morning came in of glasgow road... nurse took him into hospital ward.. been lookn after it since.. vet from lanark has came & collected dog and took it to clyde vets at the bottom of wishaw .. its a friendly big dog.. 3-4 yrs old.. vet checked & its chipped.. been trying to contact number which was on dog collar but no answer... all i will say is its wearing camoflage type harness & collar.. .. cheers in advance"

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
Please check on our Missing pages in case the Found dog has been registered as missing with us.
If possible please add a photo as this greatly assists our work in matching Found dogs with Missing dogs.
