Excellent news! So so pleased for Gus and his owners. Thank you, Emma for letting us know that Gus is home safe. And you haven't troubled us at all.

Kind regards,

Trent Country Park

What wonderful news! I will go to sleep happy now. So pleased for you. Have a lovely cuddle with him. Phew! I'll probably delete my tweets and will message everyone I wrote to but apologies if you get contacted by anyone . Main thing is he's safely home now, thank goodness. Best wishes

Have put a couple of messages out on Facebook too. Tagged GoApe in Trent Park as they have lots of visitors too
.
I've switched my emails across the road now near to Priory Close as that does sound like it might be him. Have emailed Vita et Pax, Salcombe Prep and de Bohun Schools which are all nearby and may be willing to put a poster up. it would be a great help as all the parents dropping off could be eyes and ears for you, they must all be local and probably walk to the schools. Also contacted Christ The King RC asking the same. Fingers crossed that's him and hope you will find him tonight, keep us posted
.
I've emailed and tweeted the Trent Park running club - hoping they'll put up a poster. Would be good to have people keeping their eyes peeled whilst running round the park

no, not me, i have posted the details below of someone who posted onto petslocated, may or may not be him, but thought id ask
about the bell
.
I've emailed Chickenshed, The Hockey Club, The Equestrian Centre, and the Golf Clubto ask them to put up a poster. Will also try and find a contact for the small animal centre down the bottom there near the Hockey Club, they may have seen him.

Yes he has bells attached to his harness. Thank you everyone for your help! We have alerted the dog wardenand been circling trent park telling people all day to look out for him
skyninchar
was your dog wearing a bell on the collar?
.
I've also alerted Trent Park Golf course via Twitter - might email them too as it's next door to where he was last seen - my bet is he would be more likely to dart back into the green area rather than veer towards the road. There's quite a good map here - the entrance for The Hockey Centre is Snakes Lane http://southgatehockeycentre.co.uk/Aboutus/Location.aspxLast edited: 2017-04-20 21:51:33 by .

I've asked Chickenshed Theatre to RT for me - they are just across the road and have hundreds through the door every day
.
I'm @thedogfinder on Twitter - am tweeting lots of local businesses and contacts and sharing with all the lost dog contacts I have trying to get it shared far and wide. I'm local and could poss help with a foot search. If I was him I would have headed back into Trent Park. I know it's a big place, but we need as many posters out there as poss. Who else is local? Has dog warden been alerted?
