Apologies, I accidently hit the 'report this' button on the most recent comment. My friends sister has found a dog who looks very similar to Pixie but she may have less white. I am waiting for her to email a photo. The dog my friend's sister has found was found near Cleethorpes Country Park. Hope it is her. I will post a photo as soon as I receive it. See 23377

Hi Glenys here, pixie's owner. Just a note to say i followed the wirral website stating that a collie cross had been found. Anyway complicated story  i rang the number on website the gentleman was very helpful and gave me the number of the people that had reported that the dog had been found and he said they were still in posession of the dog. Well i rang the number and the lady didn't seem to know what i was on about.  I did explain and she said she was the owner of a collie cross but she had not found one. I then rang back to the website to inform them and spoke to the same gentleman, must say the poor man was totally confused and he did have the ladies name correct and he said well they did report that they had found one. Anyway i don't really know what to say just thanks anyway everything is still worth following up no matter how bizarre they turn out to be, at least it keeps me smilingLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

From Glenys Edwards Well i'm sorry to say that there is no news of Pixie and no new leads. I think she has been picked up by a passing vehicle and either kept by them or sold on. Thanks everyone and please keep a look out for her appearing in your area, cos i'm never gonna stop searching for her and keeping up the publicity. Anyway i was on the preloved website tonight (05/12/07) and someone in Newton le Willows, St Helens, Cheshire has found a 10 to 12 week old pup in their garden. Just wondered if anyone on here knew if one has been lost in that area Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Glenys. I'd get on to your local rescue centres straight away aswell incase the lady has been re-advised to take the dog there instead of the council. Good luck xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Glenys at least you know that people are looking for Pixie. I would check with the local police stations in case anyone has reported to them instead of the councilLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Glenys Edwards (pixie's owner) I had a phone call today from a lady that has also lost her dog and has seen my posters in Laughton. While she was out searching she bumped into a lady walking her boxer dog, this lady said that yesterday (20/11/07) someone found a collie cross in laughton and that they were taking it home and then phoning the local council. I have followed this up but the local council don't seem to know anything about it. I was wondering if anyone else has heard about this collie thats been found and could it be Pixie. Hopeful GlenysLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Owner, type (Dog Rescue Kennels DN14) in www.google.co.uk and you will find places in the area to contact. Please ensure DW's in neighbouring councils are informed it you are on the border. Good luck and hope to see Pixie in the blue soon. Jan x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spoken to owner, Pixie is still missing. All the right authorities have been informed and local resuces checked. Have explained how to post on the site and owner said they will update helpers shortly. Posters have been getting displayed and handed out. Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Might be worth checking listing for Labrador Retriever on FOUND page on 10.11.07. It mentions the lab was seen running with a Collie in the DN21 area. Could this be Pixie, or is it too far away from DN14?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
