Very sorry to advise that I saw a very large black dog like yours being carried in the arms of a recycling person yesterday morning. It looked like he had been hit by the van and the driver had stopped to pick him up and carry him to the payement. Was very misty so visibility very poor. It was at approx 6.45 a.m
