We would like to thank everyone searching for Milly and your wonderful communications, they have really helped. Special thanks to Jackie and Claire from FAITH, Sally Moore & Yodel man. We are very sad that Milly did not give herself up to be helped and that she met her death in a brutal way. We are also very conscious that Rebecca, the driver, was very distressed that she had no opportunity to avoid Milly. We commend her for searching for us & found us on DOGLOST. Thank you Helen for keeping everyone in touch. June & Don

I have just been notified that Milly's owner has had a call from a lady who hit a dog and killed her at 10.15 tonight, she stopped and wrapped up the body and took her home to take to vets tomorrow, the lady has since seen a post for Milly on the internet and believes it is her. She is meeting Milly's owner tomorrow to confirm.
So very sad, will update tomorrow when I know more xx

Milly was seen drinking from a pond in someone's garden last night (10th of April) . Which means she has moved under the A 11 bridge where Colney Lane crosses towards the river.
Rene
Where was Milly seen on the 10th? We keep looking at the back of Waitrose and around the river near Cringleford bridge and under A11 bridge but perhaps we are looking in the wrong area? Thanks Last edited: 2017-04-10 22:36:02 by Rene

I've just walked back along the hedges and fields from the bridge to the roundabout and no sightings. I cannot comment on the Facebook posts.

Have been looking around the fields at the end of Cantley lane but from sightings should we be looking on village green area up to Waitrose and perhaps along river towards UEA broad ?

Hi, A gentleman contacted me this pm to say he thought he had seen Milly in a corner off the Waitrose car park as she disappeared into bushes. So I have transferred a transported cage into the area with some food & water. Please don't chase her if you see her in this area near the river. I am praying that she will discover the box with food etc & hide there.

Hope you find this lovely little dog soon. Before she ran up the path on Cantley Lane I managed to get reasonably close to her and I felt she was thinking about coming to me but (I might be wrong) she seemed very anxious with men. As a rescue dog we don't know what's happened in her past, poor thing. It was awful to see her and the two gentlemen running along the dual carriageway facing fast oncoming traffic. YodelGuy, you were very kind and brave!! After all that lets hope she is found.
June
Hi Lankeela, thanks. Milly was mistakenly let off the lead in Eaton. Pathway near Cranleigh rise. She made her escape to Cantley Lane Cringleford despite the valiant efforts and help from many people in Eaton and that was the last place she was seen on the embankment to the A11. Faith Animal Rescue(Jackie) and DogLost (Helen and Jayne)have been wonderful. If you or anyone else sees her please don't approach just give us a call as she is frightened of people.
please phone 07954421688 Many thanks Don

Milly is still missing, is there anybody local to the area that could help search for her, sightings only to be reported as she is very scared, please do not try to catch her.
DPDGuy
Lankeela, Im not the owner but i was there when she ran off and tried to catch her. She ran up Cantley lane up the footpath and on to the A47, towards the Thickthorn Roundabout (with A11). We lost her as we got close to ten roundabout so she likely went in to the farmers fields etc between Newmarket Road, A47 and Cantley Lane
Lankeela
Whereabouts in Cringleford, can go that way later this afternoon and have a look round. Hope there is some good news soon.
