Hi John are you on facebook? Or is there a group for Trigga? A dog has been found that looks so much like Trigga, they are calling him Dodger, not sure if chipped with that name? But chips are now being exchanged, there was a dog found recently that was chipped as a rabbit! Here is the link and good luck! https://www.animalsearchuk.co.uk/AFP322799Last edited: 2017-06-25 20:27:56 by Furbuddiesreunite

I live in UB10. A couple of weeks ago i was walking my dog and a bullterrier called trigger came and had a play with my dog, and the owner came and got him as be wasnt coming back when calling.
I didnt take much notice at the time as I hadnt seen this, so cant remember the colour etc of the dog, we meet a lot of dogs while out. But was definitely a bullterrier, probably a staff and his name was definitely trigger.

Was his name on his collar? I wonder if somebody else has taken him in? I will keep an eye out for him while walking mine. Last edited: 2017-04-08 13:51:42 by JennyBuster

Sorry Pearl. I will correct that.
Battersea website; We have three centres in South East England - the London centre in Battersea, the Old Windsor centre in Berkshire and the Brands Hatch centre in Kent. Our centres are open every day and welcome visitors to come and meet us and animals in need of new homes.

I just noticed as well RSPCA have a branch in Hillingdon.
Might be worth just mapping out from last known location and trying all the rescues and vets. One would hope that any dog brought in would be scanned.
I am looking through some sites too.Last edited: 2017-03-24 12:11:10 by reggiemollieros

Reading the post by Reggie,Battersea do not have a branch at Hatch End, which is in Northwood,Middlesex but I think it should be Brands Hatch in Kent. Also Battersea have a branch at Old Windsor,Berkshire.
It's a complicated case as a friend of the owner put up a poster locally saying accidentally lost in West Drayton UB7,and the Doglost poster says in Hillingdon not far away. I think this is the first time we knew about the dog.Last edited: 2017-03-24 09:21:16 by Pearl46

So sorry to read what your friend did. Are the microchip details up to date? If you are not sure ask admin@doglost.co.uk for help to find out.
I take it SDK services, the dog warden in your area has no information?
Gilly P does post any found dogs from their website on Doglost and I have looked in Found section but did not see any matching dogs posted but do look if you have not already.
My next suggestion would be to approach rescues.
Battersea corrected after Pearl's comment.
From their website: We have three centres in South East England - the London centre in Battersea, the Old Windsor centre in Berkshire and the Brands Hatch centre in Kent.
The Mayhew Animal Centre NW London
Rescue Remedies who are incorporated with Staffie Rescue - they have a forum based website so you can see both the dogs up for homing and the one successfully rehomed.
All Dogs Matter and South East Dog Rescue.
There is a website called Rescue Review if you put in a local postcode it will bring up a list of rescues in the area and within a certain mile radius.
Check animalwardens.co.uk however they don't cover this area but sometimes members of the public use them.
If you and any local volunteers could get some posters up it might jog someone's memory. Make the missing date prominent so people know it is back to November they need to think.
I do hope you find Trigga. Last edited: 2017-03-24 12:12:53 by reggiemollieros

Very local to me, have texted owner and will phone tomorrow. Sharing round all local groups now. I believe post code should be UB10 (as where my parents live)

Sorry to see that TRIGGA is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (112947)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
