- It has been reported that 2 dogs have been sighted straying in Hatfield and one of the dogs looks a similar breed to Buddy although the photo was of poor quality so we just don't know how significant this is if at all. We haven't seen the photo someone else didLast edited: 2018-07-18 13:04:16 by Buddy

- Hi Dolafich I couldn’t find your post unfortunately. Would you be able to pm the video to our FB page Buddy Come Home
Thank you x - 2018-04-09 12:51 Dolafich
- Look my name up on ‘Godalming and villages community board’ Facebook the video is on there. My husband also thought the dog had a collar on. I really do hope it’s him as I’m a dog owner and I don’t know what I would do with out my dog.
Also I’ll tell my neighbors is they see the dog to call the name buddy out. - 2018-04-09 12:46 Dolafich
- I have a video of a doggie that looks just like buddy. I don’t want to get your hopes though. We’ve had a dog wondering around mine and my neighbors gardens for months, we haven’t been able to catch dog. The doggie has been stealing boots and shoes too. We live in Milford Surrey. If you would like to contact me by email I can send you the video as I’m not sure how this webpage works, or you could look up my name on Surrey dog Facebook page.

- We're trying to trace a lady who was walking her dog over Rabley Heath a few weeks ago and who took a leaflet from a volunteer. They think she may have seen a dog matching Buddy's description possibly. Lady is described as 50-55 yrs old brown/grey bob hairstyle, glasses was walking a large Schnauzer type dog. Drove a Royal bluish small hyundai car. Hoping she rings doglost

- It wasn't Buddy in Digswell local dog groomer said its a local dog and we have ruled it out now unfortunately. Buddy was only sighted once in the night he disapoeared. Put an appeal out on FB no info received as of yet. Only thing we have to go on is an anonymous phone call received in April from a woman who saw his poster in Stevenage

- Owner, refer to my original emails as you need to do the scenting now - safely away from roas and rail and any camp sites. Set up a feeding station where he has been seen butu slightly hidden for his safety - he will pass that way again - but do NOT share that location on site. Not on any site at all. Leave old jumper in the area he walked and do scenting and re poster. Patience now and twice daily replenishment of food and water. You can sit and watch, dawn and dusk, but more importantly keep that food supply going although you need to know who is eating it. Lead the scenting to the food from the areas he has walked. REMEMBER do not shout, call quietly, as he won't know its you immediately if you see him and this applies to anyone who sees him. Right now anyone is a potential threat, so keep low, quiet and watch. Talk quietly but enough for him to hear and recognise voices. Do NOT chase or he won't want to come back there and we don't want that. If this is Buddy, you are almost there - you REALLY can get him home - slowly, step by step. We can talk you through each step as it arises. Come on Buddy, let's get you know sweetie. x

- Buddy. Hopefully you have given police all the details and they are following this up. It might be an idea to contact all the rescues, vets and wardens in the area to remind them Buddy is still missing. Also check DogLost received your email with CRN as it has not been upgraded to Stolen yet. So sad to see Buddy has still not been returned to his family.

- Thank you Rachel. Haven't contacted the school yet but have been putting posters out around the area so far x
- 2017-04-19 12:49 Missingpetsgb
- Have you tried asking the school for information if anyone has seen him being walked? The positive thing if he has been kept, he's likely to be in one place, so not moving around (hopefully).
I'll at least try tweeting the info over to the school later, if nothing, as people in the area might follow and see, if you like? - 2017-04-18 20:17 Buddy
- Thank you. That is now the conclusion everyone has come to. A dog matching Buddy's description was seen being walked down the A505 towards Letchworth nr the signpost for St Chrisopher's School a week last Saturday. - Hope Buddy is found soon, been missing so long now, seems no confirmed sightings in a while. He is chipped, so entirely possible someone is keeping him as their own and not reporting him as found. Don't give up, he will be found.

- Focus on posters in the area he went missing and then outwards. It really works and will keep your brain occupied on that which will help you. One other thing, have you checked railways as many are accessible even if you donlt think so. You need to speak to Network Rail if not already done so? This is very important. I am going to email you now. Please read it carefully and believe what is written. You really can find Buddy, many, many get home eventually, so deep breath, and onwards we go. Come on Buddy, give us a clue. x

- That has been suggested, thank you Nina. We still believe that someone has him and that they haven't broken cover with him yet. So they may be leaving him in a garden and that when he eventually breaks cover he could pick up a scent and bolt and then he may ending roaming around. - Buddy, Jenny & Tiga/Yogi would be closer to you. I believe they are already tracking today but if you complete an online form at www.K9tracker.co.uk I'm sure Jenny will be able to offer advice.
Also get as many posters up as you can,get the word out there and check with the Dog Warden, vets, animal rescues etc. I believe warden for your area is contracted to SDK http://www.lostdogsuk.co.uk/
I'm not local so can't help search or put up posters. - 2017-01-26 12:53 cockerspaniellover
- No problem at all I have 3 dogs and they are the loves of my life so I can't imagine how heartbroken you are. Tracker would be best, but also ask scenting advice as you should try leaving a trail of your diluted wee and familiar smells from where lost to home as they sometimes trace back xxxxx please keep me and everyone updated and o have all things crossed he is found today and well xx
