Neutered males dont usually go too far. {Presume all outbuiuldings checked including empty houses, cellars etc? Put his blnket (Unwashed) into clean container, and leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, along with something with your scent on too. Someone may be feeding him. Wipe his scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too; anything leading up to the house. Walk around the an holding on object with his scent on and rattle some dreamies Try a squeaky toy as it may attract his attention. When walking around use the deodorant/perfume you usually wear,as sometimes a cat will recognize the smell. Some cat owners do this. Poster around the area. and put "Lost" posters through doors too.
