Kate, I was getting really worried about you, so glad you are ok, please don't give up on Jack - THERE IS A WEBSITE www.vetontheweb.co.uk, you can find the telnos fax nos and email addresses for every vet in every county in the country, I e-mailed 89 vets for Yiftakis last week, 2 thirds bounced back and so now I am faxing all of those with fax nos, and those that don't go through today because it is out of hours i will send again on Monday. If you do no more than make sure every vet knows about Jack in case he is brought in by someone as their own you have a chance of getting him back... There is hope... Look at the found and reunited pages...He hasn't been gone that long really and a JRT will readily cope with being out and about. Please don't give up on him - not yet - it is far too soon... Chin up and please keep in touch, wish I was closer to help you :)Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sorry just read the other messages. The onlt consolation i suppose at the momentis that he is in the warm and being fed! in the wrong home, but he will soon be back in your arms again, maybe the man is looking for it's owner? has this man been approached if he has been seen with Jack?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

The mans description is the same as the description given by owner of the last person to pass before Jack went missing-he wears a beanie cap and is called Lee. The ladt who saw the dog yesterday asked owner how old he was and he said he did not know-then lady saw a poster of Jack.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sorry didn't make it clear I am not in your area - Do you have any travellers sites locally they may have picked him up. You should be aware of Chief and Doughnut stolen in the South East. Hope little Jack is soon back home. Jan XLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I agree with doglady keep checking near where you last saw him, sounds like rabbit land, if he hasn't caught one he will be hungry now so any local food smells ...fish & chips, fried chicken in the area? Probably too young to have a homing instinct, but as long as he can get his head back out of a rabbit hole he will be fine... stay safe Jack and make yourself visable! Posters need to be displayed as soon as possible on notice boards, lamp posts, entrances to parks, dog bins and on cars. Take posters to vets, pet shops, postmen (for sorting offices), milkmen, dustmen, street cleaners, taxi drivers, schools, pubs, youth clubs, newsagents, post offices, takeaways, dog training clubs, supermarkets and car parks. Hand out reduced-down posters or cards to people - especially dog walkers - and deliver to houses and businesses. Police stations, Dog Wardens, the RSPCA and all rescue centres need checking frequently and preferably visited in person by owner or someone who knows Jack well. Stay safe Jack, until you are home x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
