I have just been talking to owner and we were saying that this dog will now be fully grown and suggested it maybe better to put a similar photo on now if a grown dog as this is dog is starting to be shared again on social media as a group of missing dogs. Admin please is this possible to put a “similar” photo as Image 1 and puppy photo as Image 2?

Police may no longer deal with lost dogs but they still deal with stolen dogs.
The owner should ask for a CRN from the police and send it to DogLost so this can be upgraded to stolen. Also check microchip details are up to date and it is marked as stolen.

That's dreadful, please email Doglost with this information (they may not see your comment), so they are aware. They may be able to make the force concerned see sense. Was smokey stolen?

The police "pc kiddle" have phoned 4 days after we reported smokey missing saying we have ruined there investigation by actually investigating I will be writing to the papers explaining how useless the police have been the police have basically said they will not be helping

Myself Ron, me n my girl and owner have had a good drive around and search. A number of contact cards have been given out and number of parks and open spaces checked. No confirmed sighting of him yet. Owners have put a good amount of posters out so we are hopeful info will be passed on

Maybe check or ask around Langtons Gardens. If he has been found he might of been taken to Wylie Vets in Upminister....I hope Smokey is found safe and soon

Please look in sports field and gardens,off billet Lane,by Queens theatre. I understand dog may be injured ,after car appeared to run over dogs paw. Also he has a lead attached.

It might be worth trying to contact RSPCA Harmsworth on 0300 123 0712, as I have known the RSPCA pick up dogs from this area over the weekend and the dog be taken there!!!...I have shared. Hope Smokey is home soon..

• If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
• A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (109822)
• Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
• You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
• Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
