If anybody knows the pattern of where this dog is going and can set up a feeding station then I am sure we can get a trap to the area. But a feeding station would need to be established!
terrierlady
No traps that I know of however could be difficult to know where to locate as there have been no definite sightings since she went missing.i am sure if anyone could offer any help owner would be very greatful.

I hope this girl is brought to safety soon .

Good luck in getting her to safety x

Nedk I think RayD is busy on another. It is always more ideal if any dog is being seen on a regular basis and an established feeding station has been set up in order to trap any dog.Last edited: 2017-01-13 12:26:56 by ClaireC

nedk
Anyone suggested ray deidcoat x

Shared. Rescue dogsare used to life in the rough lane and can survive better than domesticated dogs. Tyson in Sheffield is same. Hope Gracie is soon found safe xx
terrierlady
If anyone could help poster around West Cornforth it would be a tremendous help - Ferryhill station covered
terrierlady
9 of us turned up today to search for Gracie and we combed the local area for 3 hrs with no sightings. The area in which she has her normal walks is vast and there are many places a frightened dog could hide including a large quarry which has no access to people although a dog can easily get in. Anyone in the Ferryhill/ West Cornforth area please print off poster and put in as many places as possible as the owner really needs your help with this.

comment on FB page called Santerpaws Bulgarian Rescue from approx 15 hours ago: ''We would just like to explain that when Lou was told a dog looking like Gracie has been sadly killed in an RTA near the bus depot, which is where she was last sighted, that it was in shock and distress that the worst was assumed. Dave who has been magnificent in supporting the search fro Gracie tracked down the kind lady who had stopped for the deceased dog (she did not hit it) and having shown her photos of Gracie she confirmed the dog was not her. So the search for Gracie goes on. Please keep sharing the Get Gracie Home posts. Thank you. Amanda.''

Admin
Sorry to see that GRACIE HELP NEEDED 14TH JANUARY is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (109315)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
