NickyB
how can we find out what, if anything, police are doing? could doglost police co-ordinator let us know? it would be much appreciated
Unknown
Gloria, I totally agree with every word you have said. The piece of trash who inflicted this on a little dog should be subjected to the same pain, and suffering

WE MUST TRY AND GET JUSTICE FOR LOLA

NickyB
bo thanks for the information. i wonder if the wheelie bin owner recognised the little dog. any update on police action? or rspca action?
Bo
I've update top picture to include the pink (size Xxl ) hoody and piece of carpet also inside the packaging with the dogs body.
Bo
I quote
"A member of the public found the female dog in THEIR green bin at the front of their house in Eastview Close, in Prenton, on Tuesday afternoon (20 December). The body was in a plastic bag which said “Do not open until Christmas Day” on the front. Also in the bag was a pink XXL hoody with “Discover Life Club” on the front, and a strip of red carpet."

Well done Dylansmum; I hope that 2017 bring this low life piece of scum to justice. Why would an owner have their pet clipped. And then subject their animal to this? Presume stolen by some undesirable maybe?

Dylansmum. Sorry for your loss
Skywalker99
NickyB, I think the homeless will look in bins for food.....
NickyB
i read here police alerted about this poor little dog by a passerby.............

how did a passerby become aware of what was in the wheelie bin?

why would anyone look in a wheelie bin?

why would u look in a wheelie bin and remove a bag and open it?

has this passerby who called the police been interviewed by them or rspca?

could this passerby know the owner of the dog and/or the person responsible for her awful death?

is there any news from either the police or rspca?
Noreen
So sad to hear about Lola I hope the police find this person very soon R I P SWEETY
Juls
So sad bless her , think a petition would be a good idea as suggested to the government on animal cruelty .

Well done dylansmum this scumbag needs identifying & named & shamed.I am so sorry to read about the loss of your little fella but knowing he had a happy life must bring you some peace & comfort .
dylansmum
I've notified the Wirral globe of my intention to post a reward subject to a successful prosecution and conviction. Can only hope it helps - we need justice for this poor little mite. Also need to petition the government to make animal cruelty punishable by an automatic prison sentence.Last edited: 2016-12-26 20:54:02 by dylansmum

I look at my 3 loved & cared for dogs and my heart breaks for this little one ,like you dylansmum I would like the person who did this to put in front of animal lovers I certainly would show no mercy .Perhaps a reward put out in public would loosen tongues .
Murvi
This poor girl must have had a owner, she's recently been clipped, surely someone knows something. I'll happily help with a reward, if someone will come forward.
dylansmum
I don't have much. I lost my gorgeous 3 legged boy last Monday after 12 & a quarter wonderful years and my heart is breaking- while he was with me he had hydrotherapy, homeopathy, chiropractic, conventional treatment for arthritis etc. I am prepared to offer £1000 reward for information leading to a successful prosecution of the scum that inflicted these vile injuries on this poor little scrap. And five minutes alone with the perpetrator....

Its frightening to think that people who have done this to a defenceless, loving creature are walking amongst us. I definitely agree with previous comments that this is a Police matter. Get this sick low life behind bars. Rip little Lola, I wish I could have helped you. Night night xxx
fionap58
What hideous person did this to such a tiny little soul, and then to put her in that bag like it was joke. The police don't put enough effort into finding people who do this stuff, lord knows what else they are capable of. RIP little Lola
susieq666
Poor little soul. I hope she died quickly, but it doesn't really sound like it. What a horrible life Lola had. Hope they put great effort into finding the culprit.
Unknown
I hope, and pray that we get justice for you
Lola. RIPx
Juls
How sad , shame on these people hope they are found disgusting . This poor soul rest in peace x x

Can we give thnis poor little dog a name to take to the bridge/
How about Lola?
Unknown
I also agree with you NickyB If it was up to me the person responsible would be on their knees begging for their lives How someone can do this to any dog never mind such a little one defeats me. You are no less than a rotten evil low piece of scum, who needs to be disposed of. I dont think all these people are sick. They are just evil. I just hope like others he/she doesn`t have any children. At least we know she is at peace now, and out of pain
Nightie night little one sleep tight, and have fubn at the bridge with your pals RIP+ Gos Blessx A~~~~Candle~~~burns for you. Run free(HUG) Now asleep in thre arms of an Angel They should lock this person up, and then throw the key awayLast edited: 2016-12-23 13:11:04

I agree Nickyb , considering the violence involved here, the police should be looking for this maniac not the rspca. And to then put him into a Christmas present sack strikes me as the act of a very sick minded individual. Hope this crazy person isn't ever left alone with a baby.
#stoppettheft
Ohhhh, Poor Poor Furbaby :( My Heart breaks for You x
Someone Somewhere WILL Know who/what caused this extensive suffering - Let's Hope they have a Conscience & Do The Right Thing
RIP Sweetheart
Mel
What use to the World are people who can do this to a defenceless creature? I cant really say on here what should happen to them, but I'm sure you can imagine. Peace at last for the little dog, who knows how long she has suffered xxx
NickyB
if the pathetic human is ever found despite all rspca efforts the judges will possibly give them 2 weeks suspended sentence for 10 yrs and 3 hrs community sentence etc etc.....
it is the police who should be searching for the culprit because they finally realise anyone capable of this to a little dog is capable of doing exactly the same to a little child.

if offering a reward would help leave your contact number here as i would be happy to set one up
Jane
How can anyone be so cruel ??
What is the matter with some people ??
Unbelieveable. Let's hope karma pays a visit soon.

THE RSPCA is appealing to our readers for information after the shocking discovery of a pet dog apparently battered to death and her body dumped in a wheelie bin in Birkenhead. The remains of the shih-tzu were found on Eastview Close, Prenton, after police alerted the animal charity in response to a call from a passer-by.
The pet was wrapped in a plastic bag marked "Do Not Open Untill Christmas Day" along with a piece of carpet and a red extra-large hoodie bearing the slogan “Discover Outdoor Life Club”
A vet examined the body and found multiple stab wounds, broken neck, extensive bruising, missing and broken teeth, a broken leg and a prolapsed eye. Wirral RSPCA inspector Anthony Joynes told the Globe: “The injuries do not appear to be consistent with her being hit by a car - and I am concerned as to how she got them.

"I am appealing for any information as to what has happened to her and how she has ended up dead and in a bin.
Anyone who has information should call 0300 1234 999 and ask for Insp Anthony Joynes.
