Fished out of a canal lock with a pole! Huge thanks to the sharp eyed person who lives by the lock and saw her struggling, and to the neighbours who helped, especially Gary who got her out and kept her warm. Narrow escape!

We have tracked her through woodlands adjacent to Thorpe Salvin known as Hawkes Wood. Then Isobel and Finlay came and joined us and Finlay led us along another circuit in an adjacent wood, which is close to this morning's sighting. Eventually the trail hooked up with our first circuit. Together we found an older scent which showed us her route from Whitwell Wood. There are footpaths through all these woods and local people are looking out for her.

Alice's family are still out there in the wood. Alice was seen around 4 pm near the area she went missing, and her owner saw a white shape a while ago which may have been her. Her bed has been left where she went missing. I have suggested a barbecue. Will be going there tomorrow morning to help.
