That is the best news, let us know as soon as they are back with you so that they can be moved to the blue. 😁
DogLostSandra Watt
BRILLIANT !! Please let us know when you have your dogs back at home.
Thanks CJ also.
Lynsry1
Just spoken to the police officer both my dogs are safe and unharmed and arrangements are being made to bring them home Thankyou everyone for all your help :)
DogLostCJ - Police Liaison & SE Regional Coordinator
Email sent to an officer I have dealt with in the past- not his area but same police force. Explained owner needs to know if this is her dog and where held - and how can be sorted quicker.

Just a thought...have you tried ringing the status dog unit and sking if they have been sent there? There was a missing spaniel found recently (Jasper I think) and the (soup for brains) police were useless about letting owner know where he was....and they had sent him to the status dogs unit. But PLEASE ring doglost and give them the CRN if you haven't already. They have influence with the police above the powers of us mere mortals.

Lynsry1
I was ringing them from 20am till 7 pm they have said the police officer is the only person who knows where they are no case report was done or any details put into there system they have said they have passed a message on for him to contact me I just have to wait
DogLostSandra Watt
I am sure CJ will respond when she can - if it was me, I would call the Police again and ask to speak to a higher ranking officer - they must be able to contact the officer who is on training. This is just so unfair.
Lynsry1
Yes I've given admin crn number still awaiting for the police officer to contact me
DogLostSandra Watt
Lynsry1 Do admin now have the CRN number.
CJ can you chase this up?
Lynsry1
A contacted a kennel who confirmed the police had kennelled them but couldn't give me anymore info
DogLostSandra Watt
Lynsry1 - the dog warden has confirmed that he does not have your dogs - how did you find out that the police had taken them?
DogLostBeezle
Just for info: I cover West Berkshire and Wokingham areas and we have not got the dogs :(
DogLostPoochpal - Regional Co-ordinator - South West - Police Liaison Team
Number now corrected from admin listing.
DogLostPoochpal - Regional Co-ordinator - South West - Police Liaison Team
Lynsry1, I have tried to contact you but the number listed above is no longer in use. We need the CRN go be able to help you.
Lynsry1
So angry !!! I am now told that the police are holding my dogs for reasons that no one can tell me and the only person in the world is the police office that is on training and i have to wait for him to contact me
Lynsry1
Hi I rang dog wardens they have no info I've rang as many vets and kennels as I can I will give admin the crn
DogLostSandra Watt
Lynsry1 - please do as Skywalker99 says below and CJ an probably help you. I thought your dogs were in Berkshire but here is the dog warden info for East Hampshire • East Hampshire Council Dog Warden Call 01730 234318 or 01730 234319 (office Hours) or Three Oaks Boarding Kennels, 01489 892 760 (until 9 pm)
Skywalker99
Lynsry1....ring doglost and give them the CRN and ask if CJ can help...doglost have contacts which mere mortals like us probably do not have. They can probably get the officer who put the dogs in kennels and didn't tell anyone where contacted.
Lynsry1
Yes have crn which I've given to Hampshire police but they say there's no info on the system as to which kennels the dogs are in so absolutely pointless of me reporting them stolen and getting crn
Skywalker99
have you got a CRN? If so ring doglost and give it to them, CJ should then be abe to help find out where they are.
Lynsry1
It's Hampshire police that found my dogs
Yes Jenkins my two girls were stolen together can only thank god they were found together unharmed
Skywalker99
Can CJ (doglost police coord) help bring Thames valley police to their senses here?
DogLostSandra Watt
Lynsry1 - have you more than one dog missing ?
Lynsry1
Apparently not skywalker99 ! I've ran every vet kennel I can find on google I'm told that I will have to wait for the officer in charge to contact me when that will be I have no clue just not looking forward to large holding fee for the both of my girls
Skywalker99
how stupid is that! don't the police keep written records? Do as Jenkins suggest and contact the dog wardens...
DogLostSandra Watt
Whilst you are waiting for the dog warden to call back (hopefully) try ringing round the local animal centres to see if your dogs are with them. Also try phoning the dog warden service for West Berkshire Council 01635 519171 and ask them which kennel they send their stray dogs to. Also as Alison has said phone the police back and ask to speak to a higher ranking officer - I am sure the police will have records that they can access. You could also try Noah's Ark Environmental Services who I believe support that Council with their stray dogs 01604 764 514. Wishing you good luck in finding your dogs.
Lynsry1
Hi Alison the lady I spoke to said he dealt with the dog warden she has messaged him my details to get in touch with me but couldn't say when he waould as he's away on training :( I just do t know what to do I make a crime report so I don't know why this wasn't checked etc
AlisonH
Can I suggest you ask to speak to a higher ranking officer as surely someone has the authority to get in touch with the officer who knows where the dogs are being kept.
Lynsry1
Are there any admins that can help me my dogs were found by police and are now in a kennels but the policeman in charge is now on a training course all week and was told they would t know when he would contact me to give me the info
