Sometimes this can happen when a cat is scared out of it`s own territory, by another cat; dominant one, but usually the cat comes back, normally after a few days, or sooner She is probably hidihng somewhere as spayed female cats dont normally go too far. Check all outbuidings in case she sneaked in, and got shut in. In this case take a walk around the area, taking with you something with her scent on, and rattle some treats such as dreamies. Gently call her name as she will recognize your voice. I would also wipe her scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too; yours too, because she trusts, and knows you of course. Try tempting her back with food too.
If not already done so and she is a nervous cat (One of mine is) you could perhaps get a cat kennel or such in case she ever feels threatened. Poster around the area, and put "Lost" p;osters through doors too Paws xd she will be home soon
Keep walking around the area, as she knows your scent, and may come out of hiding. Paws xd.Last edited: 2016-10-20 07:15:41
