7pm Monday 3rd December LOST DOG 🐕🐕

This little chap (who I have christened Sheepie) was found in Northop Hall a few minutes ago. I guess he’s between 5 and 8.
No microchip, no tag, blue collar. He has been neutered. Can you help us get him home with a like and a share?

I've been out and about in Swansea, South Wales today and seen 2 dogs that look quite similar to Sherbert. I took photos (secretly) and I was wondering if I could send these photos to the owner or someone who volunteers at Doglost? Just to see if it could possibly be Sherbert :)

We are conducting two searches tomorrow starting at 11am, one is at Wenallt woods, North Cardiff and the other is in Ponthir, Newport. We currently are searching for two separate dogs seen in these areas and have both been confirmed as Poochons... if anyone at all is able to help in either of these searches we would be so grateful. On sunday a lady saw a dog identical to Sherbert at Wenallt woods, North Cardiff.. very thin and very frightened. The lady was very near to catching the dog when another dog ran over and scared the little dog away. People have been up their every day looking but no joy, if anyone is able to help search as these woods are enormous we would be very grateful.

Ok, so the guy who went in the pet shop in Cwmbran came forward yesterday after seeing the article in the argus and contacted Tricia. Tricia went and visited him this evening and sadly the dog isn't Sherbert- this was also the same guy who had been seen with a dog like Sherbert walking in Cwmbran central park.

Also 2 more possibles from the Argus article... one of a 12 year old boy with a similar dog today walking from beechwood towards Maindee today.
And of an older couple in Central park, Cwmbran with a similar dog who have not been seen before with the dog.....Of course these may well not be Sherbet but similar looking dogs...and am sure we will have more calls coming in....

Police updated on latest information and they hope to collect CCTV from the shop where a person bought dog food/bowls/lead etc for a recently acquired dog and this dog was very similar to Sherbert.

Just in from postering Cwmbran and accosting anyone using a mobile phone and asking them to share...no one refused and alot had also seen on FB or in the local Argus. Posters up around the town centre, Morrisons and Asda as well as in the ladies loos and the liftgoing up to the shopping centre alongwith Cwmbran station....also popped into the royal mail sorting depot and they are circulating around the local posties. The pet shop already had a poster up...but popped in anyway.

Just in from doing caerleon road...more posters in shops...popped into the local grooming parlour ...who already knew about sherbet from FB...Absolutely everyone I approached had seen it on FB.....Gave a few posters to homeless in Newport city centre...went back to Spar but the guy who sits outside and minds the dogs was not there...but left mycard with the sales crew who said they would give it to him when he came back and have asked him to call me. Then went to the pet shop where a possible sighting was last saturday....again the sales assistant was not there but shop owner said she was going to ring and ask him to ring me....good to see a doglost poster already in the window!...even better to find out they have CCTV that covers the outside of the shop!

Filming went well....met loads of people and a lot of teenagers who shared instantly on their phones...I doubt if their is a person in newport who has not heard of us...caught a taxi home and was talking to the driver showed him a photo...and he said straight away that dog came u on my FB page in the last hour...

5 sightings now of Sherbert ....Police have not given a CRN number as yet until they interview the neighbour...and have asked owner to stop ringing them....as they will call her...not sure if the CCTV footage has been viewed yet...but owner says she will send us the officer in charge of the case details so CJ our police co-ordinator can follow through....
