- Ladies please can we keep to trying to locate owner rather than using as a forum for debate on microchipping and other issues!Last edited: 2016-09-27 08:28:52 by ClaireC

- I've been doing this for ages NickyB. Most people say they'll do it but then don't. They also say its ok, he's chipped. He doesn't need a tag. I then tell them how much it will cost them to get their dog back from the wardens. They still don't do it.
So many, otherwise well educated people, also tie their dogs outside the local shops (its ok, I only leave him for a couple of minutes).
They all think it won't happen to them. Luckily they are, usually, correct.
It won't stop me banging on about it though.Last edited: 2016-09-26 19:42:14 by Veronica - 2016-09-26 17:55 Jane
- Well said NickyB - I have also noticed to amount of dogs without ID or CHIP is ridiculous. So many dogs would get home quicker if their owners took the bother to do this. It would also help Doglost team to reunite dogs a lot quicker too. PLEASE CHIP YOUR DOGS! Also have them tattooed. All my dogs are tattooed it's instant recognition by members of the public. Belt and braces.

- to all dog owners who follow doglost PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE beg all your dog owning friends to make sure their dog has up to date id tag on collar, and up to date chip details - so many dogs on the lost and the found pages do not have either

- Please note, that if your dog is not chipped you have 21 days from the date you claim your dog to get it chipped otherwise you could incur a £500.00 fine.
