First neutered cats dont tend to go too far as as rule, Preesume all outbuildings were checked? He could still be in the area being fed by someone else. (It happened by me) I wojuld put something with his scent on into a clean container, such as his blanket/bedding/soft toy. and also put something in with your scent on too., Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry. Wipe his scent on your garden fences. gates, doors, amything leading up to the house. Take a walk around the area holding something with his scent on, and rattele some treats such as dreamies. Someone could be feeding him. Try a squeaky toy as it may attract his attention. I would also check to see if there is any empties houses he may have got locked in; it has happened. Cats can survive without food for quite a while. You could also put an ad in a newspaper. All worth a try. Ask friends, and neighbours to share as well as Doglost.

Ps My neighbours cat (Neutered) once went awol for a week or two. After postering in the area, he was "Found" quite near to his own home being fed by someoene else. Now happily reunited:-) Cats? crafty or what?
